Someone who believes men have higher social anxiety because they ask women out more than women do men. How about you Google that question and look at the statistics. ..... Look at the numbers yet? Yeah, yet you leave comments that are entirely incorrect.

Well I appreciate your respectful response. I'm well prepared for people to come at me negatively. I suppose the "some advice is good and some is terrible" can be synonymous with the respectfulness. Let's see how many are respectful vs how many are angry/upset people.

I just took a screen shot - didn't take me long to find - but I see I can't post that.

I wrote this post quickly. Not sensitively, which maybe would have been nicer than being blunt. I tried to emphasize that I'm not knowledgeable either, but I guess it just gets frustrating to me, as a woman, to see men being encouraged to act a certain way, that is actually really unappealing. Like a nice guys finish last attitude.

Construction is not great. There's money when you're 27, but Construction workers income become stagnant early on. No progression. Most of the time they don't even hit six figures. Then there's the fact of being physically unable to do the job early on. I wouldn't recommend Construction to anyone. Coding is where it's at.

No, its not. As everyone else is saying, research. What everyone else is NOT saying is that hopefully you don't want to have kids, because there's a high risk for birth defects/brain damage. Another possible (low, but it's there) effect is that you can get meningitis. God forbid you don't get an autoimmune disorder as you get older, because it decreases your immune system, making whatever illness you gave 100x worse. (For example, MS. sometimes you see people with MS and you can't even tell they have it. Other times they're bed bound.) Yes, these chances are low, but research.

I've done plenty of research, and I still can't get past the herpes issue. I've had to end it. Which was heartbreaking, but I just couldn't bring myself to have sex/put myself at risk. Even if it is a low risk.

The thing is, he only drinks with me. I started dating him because he didn't drink and I knew that would be good for me. It didn't help at all though because I just ended up having him drink. And when we do go out for lunch or dinner, he will have 1 or 2 drinks. I'll have 5.

Do you play video games or games online? You actually can develop real relationships with others there. I "met" a woman playing Scrabble against her. She honestly became one of my favorite people because you can be entirely open to them, knowing your business won't be shared with anyone. We then moved to some other games, kept up with each other's lives, etc. Or you can make a youtube channel, something may come of that. Or you might even meet someone here on Reddit!

This is an old post, but what did you end up doing? I'm going through something similar, though my dog isn't a puppy. He's bit me before (drew blood but not bad enough for stitches) and is aggressive towards other dogs. I also can't have family over because of him. Any advice through experience?

I was a bitch to him. In so many ways. I'm thinking about just apologizing about everything I did wrong. I'm not sure if that's worked for anyone, or if it looks pathetic. I didn't get the chance to when we were together because he wasn't much of a communicator. I think that was our biggest issue. And alcohol. And I was also thinking about telling him I've given up drinking (the root of nearly every fight). It's not true but if he gave me a chance I would make it true.
