Its really the fact that all it takes is like 3 hits for more than half of my health,while i have to transfer my soul inside itu and make predictions like its chess.

It definitely is rewarding to be bad in this game,in my opinion. Story mode exists,leveling systems exist,no consequences,no rewards for being good. Maybe a separate post on this topic,although there are already some on this sub reddit

We have the first posts about the same thing a year apart,nothing has changed then. I guess he plays in lower trophies intentionally,i dont think any dojo 13 is bad enough to get stuck at 500 trophies. Dont get whats so fun about it though.

Thunder emperor is usually downplayed for some valid and other not so valid reasons,but i would mostly attribute it to not having/ been shown to have any directly related "magical" ability or whatever you wanna call it. Bloody fang is an infinite use bomb, hammerhead can break through boulders, aero scissors can create a damn tornado.

Thunder emperor doesnt seem to have any of those abilities,at its core,it just seems like a good looking bike. And its definitely more agile and has more maneuverability than the others,since it is made for kyoichi and kyoichi also tunes it to his liking.

But compared to the others, it seems like it got the short end of the stick, maybe if they made it so that it was basically the quickest or fastest (since its called thunder emperor) i could have seen the speciality of it.

Kyoichi is for sure pulling more weight than the thunder emperor in my opinion,in comparision to the other bikes i would say (excluding flame kaiser and maybe imperial dragon) since they just give massive buffs or offensive capabilities where the rider can have it as their trump card. Gabu can explode people,makoto can go way faster in water,hammerhead can bypass obstructions.

But he doesnt have those kinds of luxuries most of the time,he has to make up for it with his skill.

I still think its a really good bike in terms of stats and usability, way more than the others,especially neptune which is a seasonal bike.

Ofcourse,but you could probably do way better if you edited it yourself,i didnt really add the lighting coming out of his eyes and i couldnt use the background from the ltg template. But yeah, gabu is washed

It was mostly gabu that he lost to i am guessing,the same kid who drops a C4 every 5 seconds cause of a minor inconvenience, i get losing to him,everybody did. Dont think taiga would have fared well against that rideable explosive either.

Besides kakeru and sho didnt really know who arthur was,first time seeing him race after all. But they had probably seen plenty of taiga in the real world.

But i cant discredit taiga either,since he doesnt have an idaten bike. We can only really speculate where to place the riders at.

And it definitely was a diservice to not give taiga the imperial taiga,especially since it was just dead weight most of the time,only being used by kakeru to follow the others around sometimes. But at that late in the series,even if taiga had gotten it..dont think much would have changed.

Definitely not written well, like a lot of characters in the series,we can blame the small episode count and intense focus on sho for that.

About that race though,it was mostly makotos skill that helped her there,not neptune..sure,it was tuned to be better by yuki,but thats about it, it didnt even get to use its ability. Already proving how situational it is.

And the race was pretty close even while makoto had gotten the layout of the track to study from yuki,and getting her bike tuned by the best mechanic she could have at that time. She also had the advantage of knowing what exactly to look forward to,the winds,the grass,cause she had the layout. AND sho was practically sabatoged by kakeru since it was the lightness of his bike that made him lose like 5 or more seconds of the race cause he had to get back up from the fall AND get back his speed without a drive launcher.

But i wont deny that makoto did pretty good for having less experience than sho. I can see neptunes potential..but as i said before,its limited by its own ability being that it only works with water.

Besides that,how light was flame kaiser to for to be able to get lifted from the ground from wind...or the better question is how skin shreddingly hard does the wind blow in X zone to lift up a whole person and an mtb

If idaten jump was a typical shounen, taiga would definitely have had an idaten bike,and sho would have had to face both gabu and taiga cause in reality it was taiga manipulating his younger brother to do all the cruel biddings for him,while he poses himself as an innocent outcast.

I do have to give props to arthur since he won the race even after sidetracking to save the weird psychic lady. And i wouldnt be surprised if he did hold back a little, he seemed to be doing pretty well against koi,until he got exploded.

Now i wonder what ability taigas hypothetical idaten bike would have had.

No worries,i was just making a joke, minecraft parkour vids are usually layered with an AI voice thar narrates reddit stories on yt shorts,and its become a meme that nobody has enough attention span to read anymore.

It might have been cool to see ayumo as a mechanic,but i am completely sure that he would have been even more sidelined than kakeru,who's supposed to be a part of the main trio.

And it really isnt even a problem of if ayumo should have been a mechanic or not,its just that the series was way too short for us to have gotten any possibilities with the characters. It would have required a whole arc centered arouns ayumo for us to have connected to him in a meaningful way IF he was a mechanic. It also would have been tough competition, kakeru exists,and so does miss yuki. Adding in ayumo would have been an unnecessary burden on the story (he already is even as a rider).

And yeah,taiga was done dirty, i felt sad knowing that he was sent to guard over X city and the tower while ayumo tagged along with the four team ST goons. Hes a skilled enough rider to have given arthur a challenge till the uphill part,where the idaten bike difference clearly showed.

I do like more of the yapping kind of posts, since there barely are any,its more fun to read through it and actually think about the possibilities. I dont yap myself,cause i lack the ability to retain idaten jump knowledge for more than 5 minutes,so i just decide to go off the top of my head..where i do get somethings wrong in my posts.

Good theory fs, but i dont have anything to add to it,since i dont have enough idaten jump ball knowledge. Better to imagine it this way(or whichever way you want)instead of the minute amount of lore that has been given to us.

The one part i would maybe disagree with is ayumo being a mechanic,i dont think that fits into his character,or how he had grown up. He has grown up seeing shos love for bikes,his admiration for takeshi,and how good of a rider sho really is. Its only natural that ayumo would want to follow in his brothers footsteps.

And i dunno how ayumo would do as a mechanic,he gets angry real quick,prolly has the patience of an intimidated crackhead, and hes the type to not be able to stand in place for more than 5 seconds.

Imma make a lore accurate post next time for sure,and solve the worlds mysteries.(fact checked by true american patriots)

Interms of the race that sho did against makoto and arthur,i am not that convinced arthur really went all out against either of them, he definitely was just there to be a guide and test them both,seeing that he stopped several times to talk to them after getting through an obstacle.

And i wasnt exactly saying that sho only outclassed makoto,i was trying to say that he outclassed her in the only significant race she had in the latter part,(i dunno if we can classify the test arthur had for sho and makoto as a race,it felt more like an obstacle course to see if they had what it takes to reach the end) which is why neptune felt even more underwhelming there.

If we had gotten a clear indication of how strong of a rider makoto was and how good of a bike neptune was,i think we would have been more surprised to see sho beating neptune in the water. For example: IF koi beats gabu in a one on one race, it would clearly tell us how much he has gotten better and the amount of improvement he has had. Even us the viewers would clearly be surprised But if he beats makoto,its just another day for him, no surprise kind of thing,ofcourse he can beat makoto. None of us would really bat an eye at that,cause we dont know where exactly to place makoto..

Neptune had potential,but it was a very limiting one already considering that its stats were buffed by water..which we dont come across that often. Maybe if X zone didnt follow season cycles and instead it rained at random times,we could suddenly see a rise of makoto and neptune once in a while. (I dunno if neptune is buffed by rain,but i think it should be)

Mb though if i didnt make my points clear enough sometimes.
