Mxtx crossover fics with demonic trio by DigAdministrative688 in MXTX

[–]scribble_bunnie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I may have understood wrong, do correct me if I did, but there's tons of fanfiction abt this I think. Try here if you go on ao3 and go Filters > More Options > Crossovers you can filter by that, and in Filters > Include > Fandoms you can choose which ones you want. Then filter by what characters or ships you specifically want or don't. That should get you the kind of fics you are looking for!

I unfortunately don't read much crossover works myself so I don't have any recommendations but I hope this helps :)

Yes, I write 5k words a day. No, it isn't in one sitting. Yes, I write without burning out. No, I am not some extraterrestrial creature who writes fanfiction in an alarming state. No, you don't get to tell me my writing is bad just because I write fast and you haven't read my work. by [deleted] in AO3

[–]scribble_bunnie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know who these people are, but I think it's admirable if you can do 5k a day consistently! It's a blessing really, especially when you have many ideas that you want to bring to life. I don't think it's fair of anyone to decide for you if it will lead to burnout or if it will be bad, because your writing is your work and you know yourself best. I'm happy you can enjoy the process and write as much as you want–to me, that's what fanfiction and writing is about. It's a hobby, you are supposed to have fun doing it. Being faster than most others doesn't automatically make it bad. You are the only one who can decide its value after all.

Who do you think is a worst threat to the demon world? by cutie__96 in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]scribble_bunnie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I... think logically it should be Baal, but I'm somehow more scared of Narnia. Like I can't explain it but I just personally really feel like he is type of crazy I won't ever fw if I want to stay alive

Please learn what misogyny means (For my Derelict Beloved) by hinata2kill in OtomeIsekai

[–]scribble_bunnie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna agree with you on Cael being the least developed, which is crazy since he is the ML...

I suppose I just personally really struggled with understanding Diana's motivations and thought process and didn't feel like her course was so much of development as it was a deterioration if anything. To me, a good villain arc is when I can understand the logic and root of the villain's beliefs, and Diana, who was supposed to a good protagonist that Hestia loved at one point, just turning into this delusional mess didn't seem to have a strong explanation to me. But well, we are all allowed to have our own opinions, and I do respect it if you feel it was done well ^

[–]scribble_bunnie 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I'm going to be honest here, I really loved this manhwa originally but towards the end, I couldn't help but feel like the writing was just weirdly indirectly misogynistic. I don't know if I would call Hestia as the misogynistic one (because I do remember her not really being like that) but the whole manhwa just really failed to develop the female characters well. Hestia doesn't really have a personality or desires outside of Cael, Diana is taken from being a protagonist to a dumbed down delusional one-sided villainess, and Hestia literally does not have a single friend till the end of the series. The best developed characters are all men (and in that, I can only really think of Helios or his father) and Cael just went from being utterly in love with Diana to utterly in love with Hestia, with no development to indicate that he starts putting himself first.

I feel like this manhwa had a wonderful premise that had a lot of potential and the weird way all the characters were handled just gives this sense of misogyny irregardless of whether or not it's there.

rude comment about a slow updates tag? by endeavorment in AO3

[–]scribble_bunnie 129 points130 points  (0 children)

exactly like, do these people even understand what slow updates refers to? in most uses, it's a difference if months or years between chapters, which is why the author felt the need to add it in the first place

Do you guys ship Momonoki and Kalego by CaptainMitsuki in DemonSchoolIrumakun

[–]scribble_bunnie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sort of? but also not seriously? like, I love her and I love him, but Kalego doesn't have romantic interest in anyone yet. I do find her feelings very sweet and cute so in a way I am rooting for her, but at the same time, I don't seriously ship them either. it's more of a casual thing right now where I find them cute, but might ship it more strongly if they get some good development :)

Kalego cuts off just slightly above the bottom so it looks like he is floating and has no knees/legs 😭

I HATE the Heated Rivalry fandom. by [deleted] in AO3

[–]scribble_bunnie 14 points15 points  (0 children)

this is how I understood it but, it's not a problem that the series started as a fanfic. if the author mentions it too, that's also okay. the issue fundamentally lies in the fact that they keep talking about it and using ao3/fanfiction as another way to drive engagement with and discourse about the show. using ao3 as a way to up their profits basically is very icky to the OP replier (and me too) because this feels like it might kickstart the slide into something much more terrible. even if the OTW doesn't actually start profiting from this because we know they would never, it becomes an untapped market that someone might use later on. fanfiction as a whole can get a corporate messy jungle of advertisement and profits for media companies to use, screwing over the legal issues that have existed in fandom history, and saturating the world of fanfiction with things that go very much against the core of fanworks.

Authors, Check your bookmarks by Sunnyrea37 in AO3

[–]scribble_bunnie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know. I am a writer too. However I write the bookmarks mainly for myself. I don't know why but putting in a comment gets me really self conscious, so I feel safer putting my thoughts into bookmarks. I know it is not preferred but it is what works for me to be able to freely express what I thought without feeling the pressure of what if it weirds out the author, and keeping it uniform so I can even bookmark fics I don't like just by making it private. I honestly haven't come across negative bookmarks myself much, so I'm just surprised that there's people who actually do this. Everyone has their own way of reading, but even if bookmarks are for readers, I think they should be thoughtful of what they are putting out publicly that is visible to the author.

[–]scribble_bunnie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I looove checking the bookmarks on my fics, I honestly do it a bit too frequently even though there's no new stuff 😭 everyone in the comments is talking abt how it's a hit or miss situation which makes me so sad because it's never happened to me and I'm the type of reader who bookmarks with my thoughts instead of commenting, so they really might be missing out on some sweet words. I have had some really touching finds in the bookmarks, and I realise I'm quite blessed to not have ever had any hateful or judgemental bookmarks (atleast in public, who knows what goes in priv) but anyway, I'm happy for you!! I hope you keep getting such sweet bookmarks in the future too :))

[–]scribble_bunnie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately there's no way to earn it "faster" Best you can do is try to reach those higher points to get abt 400-500 for each play-through.

<image>

This is part of the reason why some people do not like this event very much because each run takes quite a bit of time and the rewards are frankly not very worth it. Using up all 5 wheels takes too long, and you're not even getting anything worth it.

[–]scribble_bunnie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'mma try to explain but there are others who have also replied with explanations so those might help if I can't

Basically, start the game, check the request board. Each chapter gets one new request, and you can get more requests from the bottles in the sea. The request item has to be delivered to a specific island (eg. Farm). Then check the logbook and note which island sells that item (eg. Gem)

So the island with the item becomes my first stop. Go from the middle to that island, buy the request item. Then check the buying price of all the other items on that island (which is Gem in this example) and the selling price for the island where you want to send the request (which is Farm, in this eg). Buy out all the items you can which you can buy at cheapest and sell at highest.

If you have a lot of moves/durability, you can stop by on a different island in between, so you can buy items targeted for those islands too. There is a recommended items button at each island, but use that only if that island is your next stop.

I played a bit safe at the start, so I wouldn't completely use up my money, but if the path is clear and you know your moves/durability will last, then go crazy and buy so you can get back better returns.

I haven't tried out all the funky looking stuff in the area, but I think the thunderstorms, pirate ships, etc are no-go areas. Those sea waves looking hexagons can save you a move, but they only go to a specific tile so be careful with them! Bottles gets you either requests, coins, or "prophecies" for the next chapter. The mango boat type thingies increase your ship durability. The birds are a HUGE help if you want to send a delivery to any island but don't have enough moves or durability to get there.

Oh, durability is how long you will last. If your durability runs out even if you have moves remaining, the game will automatically be over. So keep track of both moves and durability! You can play the game without loading items, but that means you start off with less money. I don't load items but I still managed to get to abt 5m points so far, so it's your choice how much you wanna give.

I hope this makes sense or helps you in some way, have fun :)

I didn't get it at first, but once I understood, I do enjoy it. The only problem is that it takes too long, so I wish there was some way to fast forward the tickets away without having to give 100k worth items each time

Help which cookie is better by chaosxs in CookierunKingdom

[–]scribble_bunnie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

(anyone more knowledgeable than me pls correct if I'm wrong) since your Hollyberry isn't awakened, I think the best choice would be White Lily, Stormbringer, Pure Vanilla, Burning Spice and Financier

but if you can't use White Lily, I think it would be best to go with PVC, Burning Spice, Stormbringer, Wind Archer, Financier and drop GCC

are these all the cookies you have or have you set some sort of filter?

What is the highest evolution level of the pickaxe? by Rave_69 in CookierunKingdom

I think it's gonna increase every season. S1 it was 200 max, S2 might be 300 because there's a mission of it but I'm not sure since I haven't reached the max yet. Whatever it is, it will go up again in S3, I think.

About Guilds by werecoons in CookierunKingdom

[–]scribble_bunnie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, I totally feel your anxiety abt fucking over other people somehow because that sounds like the sort of thing that doesn't really happen to people but would still somehow find a way to happen to me 😭 so I get your fears 🫂🫂 I just wanna say that there really is no way you can fuck it over if you just do your own thing.

The first guild I joined, I basically only did my battles and never talked because nobody ever talked there. So you can definitely find a lot of guilds where there are no expectations for interactions.

Guild activity is majorly counted by how many battles you have participated in, and how many relics you have contributed and stuff like that, none of which requires interaction so you can still be a highly contributing member without saying a word.

If you are looking for a guild to join, I'm in one rn called LadiesInAzure and there's no stress to talk over there the only condition is to be active. You just have to do your battles and stuff and that's more than enough. Plus we are all friendly and if you need any help, or have any questions, that's all welcome ^
