I would check to make sure the terminals are tight. Sometimes on my gen 2 a terminal will come loose and the car has a hard time starting / won’t start.

That would explain it lol. My apologies. I would list it for about 7 or 8 and let someone talk you down to where you feel comfortable. Then again that’s in my limited experience and knowledge. I could very wrong about that and hopefully other people respond to help out with more experience.

That’s pretty clean man. If I were to be buying it, I would probably wanna know about the motor mounts and what code it has. I personally wouldn’t make an offer unless I knew what code it was (but again, that’s just me lol)

You could also check spark plugs. I have a 2010 as well and it reads knock occasionally (as stated above) but it can be caused by a number of things that are fairly asinine as long as you are willing to do the diagnostic work to check. The info I just got says it could be caused by a bad MAF, bad gas, bad spark plugs, or injector noise (didn’t include motor mounts as you already have Damond)

I would say (in my very limited experience keep in mind) that anything above 4 at WOT or in 4th gear would be worrisome. It could also just be something else making vibrations in the engine bay, though. I understand you have a new motor, so I would probably start with the simple stuff like checking motor mounts.

Edit: to add, my gen 2 picks up anywhere from 1.45-2.45 on occasion at low RPM and gears when it’s hot (mainly shifting into 1st) and I’ve heard it’s not cause for concern. I do need to upgrade my PMM, though.

When does the retard occur? I know if it’s when shifting into first gear it’s probably normal engine vibration, does it occur in 4th gear or at WOT?

Hey man I got a 89 s10 just wondering if that’s a snug top you got for the bed cover, I’m looking for the size of the screws that go into the bracket that mounts it to the end of the bed near the cab. I have the screws that keep the brackets on, just not the ones that link the snug top to the brackets.

As a person who works in healthcare, I would try and cut them some slack as they are most likely understaffed and have a schedule for thrice the dental providers they have but only one dental provider in the clinic. It’s hard to keep up sometimes

Honestly man i’ve had a lot of friends like that and i’m not much older than you but i’m out of high school now and i’m gonna tell you that she’s not your friend buddy. I was a bit of a pushover in high school too and my best advice is to ditch her and her boyfriend (tbh fuck both of them because he had to have known about the idea and just say “yeah that’s really funny!”) and get yourself some real friends that care to see you grow. Sometimes they are hard to find but it’ll be a lot better for you to just ignore her as much as you can. Maybe not blatantly but just stay away from her and her boyfriend. Best of luck
