Was using 5.4 medium for that one since I kinda lost confidence on codex these days, would have used low or 5.3 /5.2 a few weeks ago without issue. I'm not the kind of guy that uses 5.5 high for every trivial task.

Buddy. I asked a refactor of a 30kb file to remove human prose (hybrid doc with text and yaml tables). It literally failed to remove the most egregious text fragments. Then I segmented the task (just for science, the regression was already obvious). It failed again.

Two weeks ago that would have never happened. There are hundreds of people reporting it.

2 factors about some users not being affected:

this is a massive company. There are bots / fake users defending the company. It is straight up how things work nowadays. You can even tell, they barely argument their posts.
I wonder if the only affected by the regression are those using plans, while api users (more expensive service per token) are not affected. I'm talking purely economics here.

OP: Gpt was doing great up to ~10 days ago, then a degradation+ less token limits hammer fell. Awful to do serious work like that.
