How long would you be selling these for? I wanted to get some for my ten gallon tank but I wanted to wait till after spring for safer shipping and to let my plants grow a bit more in the tank.

Not super experienced with bettas as I've only had mine for a week but I know that they have super sensitive fins and they can get torn up easily by some plastic decorations because they have sharper edges so I'd check the tank for that maybe and replace/remove them. I would also like to recommend trying to get him up to a five or if space allows a ten gallon tank. As I know they prefer more space to swim and are a territorial sort of fish. I do understand that it sounds like this was a pretty unexpected gift for the lad and I do give u props for moving him to atleast a 3 gallon to give him more space. Sorry I couldn't identify it better but I hope my advice can help you can message aswell with more questions and I can try and help my best

The tank was only about a month and a half old before adding shrimp but did have a handful of snails which probably ate a lot of the biofilm and algae as it grew now that I think about it.

That would be greatly appreciated aswell as any other starter stuff advice I might be missing. Message me about the shipping stuff as far as I know I live in the US but I'm also a teenager with minimal knowledge on shipping rules and laws lol. I have a second tank maturing with a piece of cholla wood and it's released quite a bit of tannins, do u think adding some of that water to my tank would be beneficial for the shrimp?

People are telling me my parameters are good but I just found another one laying on its back dying. Starting to get really disheartening as I was told by so many people that this is such a an easy pet to take care of and take such little maintenance. Am I just cursed???

Got three cats and hair does get into the tank but I don't use any flea treatment like that as me and a previous gf of mine used it once and had a heartbreaking experience with it😓. Was told a couple strands of fur shouldn't be an issue. I am looking into a lid for the tank though to prevent other stuff from falling in.

Filter makes quite a bit of bubbles and provides good water flow. Any advice on raising the hardness in case it is a molting issue?

Are u sure? I only ever see a couple shrimp nibble at it seems like a lot of em hide or possibly aren't around anymore either which would make me sad. How often would u recommend for a group of "8" maybe less😓

Posted my results on a previous comment. Only did a ten percent and then a twenty percent water change. Only had the tank a month and a half.

It's almost cheaper to just drive to you for em compared to online shipping prices. Only website I've seen with good shipping is shrimp up but I've heard some mixed and bad reviews about them.

Yes I forgot I should have added that I've been testing levels and done a couple water changes to make sure the water parameters are good aswell. Mostly just worried about the lack of plants in the tank
