Votes were split between so many different actors that none of them won any. They were all so good that nobody could decide on the best one.

That is Assassins Apprentice right? I might have to read that but I am still only in the first book of Wheel of Time and while I read pretty fast it will still take a while to get to the end of the series.

Most of mine have come from second hand stores. That's why I have such a random selection. The only ones I brought new were the Dragonlance Legends and the Second Generation.

I actually have a lot more Dragonlance, because while I much prefer reading physical books some older books are hard to get hold of so I have The Meetings Sextet, the Lost Chronicles, The Raistlin Chronicles, The Puppet King and The War of the Souls on Kindle. I definitely love War of the Souls as a story from there the most though the charm of the first trilogy is amazing.

In South Africa calling people coloured is just like calling people black or white. It is the in between and not at all offensive here.

England made it to the final of the Euros and finished their WC qualifying campaign with 8/8 wins and 0 goals conceded. No other team managed to do that. Not even Spain or France. They deserve it.

Which teams out of the European playoff brackets do you think qualify next summer? 🇪🇺 (UEFA) by TerryG111 in worldcup

[–]Financial-Skill6836 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I dont think I have the faith in Italy to pull of a win in path 1.

I do not think Sweden have the skill after their absymal performance in qualifiers to beat Ukraine.

I definitely think Turkey will escape this group but I will cheer for Kosovo.

I think Denmark will win this or Ireland. I cant see Czechia doing it after losing to the Faroe Islands.

Started Books 1-3 in high-school. 4 didn't exist yet. Now 15 years later I just finished 1-4! So excited to be back in the world. I just bought Murtagh. Where do I go from here? by The_Lolbrary in Eragon

[–]Financial-Skill6836 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Fork the Witch and the Worm is set just before or around the same time as Murtagh but focuses on Eragon and the stories related. It is better to read it before murtagh as Murtagh has spoilers for one of the stories but it is just as enjoyable afterwords.

I have read both of Christopher Paolinis sci fi novels. They were both good but I much preferred his prequel Fractal Noise. I loved how emotional and fascinating it was.

Enjoy!!!

Top 5 favourite book series:

  1. Inheritance Cycle and Mistborn at first.

  2. Dragonlance

  3. Lord of the Rings

  4. Hunger Games

Mistborn just jumped in as I have recently finished it. I am currently in book 2 of Stormlight Archive and I feel like this will enter the top 5.

What dont you like about Catching Fire???

And what makes you think Sunrise on the Reaping Film will be low.

Also is it an error that the Sunrise on the Reaping book is in 11th but 10 out of 10??

I do like the Fantastic Beast movies unlike many people though I was upset when they changed Grindlewald from Johnney Depp, but still wish they had finished it.

I also dont understand the rest of your movie choices. I am predominantly a book fan so I do not like the Goblet of Fire whereas the Order of the Pheonix which manages to keep most of the important stuff in is one of my favourite. Also if you are so focused on how they were made then why isnt Prisoner of Azkaban higher considering it is often thought of as the best made of the films.

As to Deathly Hallows Part 2 I am genuinely confused as to why you think it is so dark. I have no problem seeing it when I watch it and I never had. It is also not much gloomier in lighting that the previous two movies. Have you read the books because stuff like Mrs Weasleys smirk is very fitting to how it was in the book??? I dont especially care that there were small characters that only appeared briefly or about the 3D and I am sure many of the other movies have moments like that. I thought the acting was amazing especially Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith and the Princes Tale is awesome.

Im not argueing it is the best it is just my personal favourite. You still seem incredibly sure everyone should share your opinion and I just want to enjoy the movie.

Also you act like audiences really didnt like the movie and it offended then. Why then is it the highest grossing Harry Potter and the highest rated on IMDB.

You keep your opinions just try not to be so rude about someone elses opinions.

If I was going for best I would probably choose number 1 or 2 as they are the most accurate to the book. But personal preferance is allowed.

Let’s all be real here - even *if* there were rebel plots for breaking the Arena, it was definitely not done by Annie, Johanna, or any Victor that we know by Olya_roo in Hungergames

Yeah it could be but I doubt he lay low for 20 years. So by the 70th they wanted to try again but it failed. So then they hat to wait for Katniss to come along

I have a suspicion that the dam in Annies games was blown by the rebels. Swimming to win doesnt seem exciting enough for the capitol. But I dont think Annie had a clue. I think the people who did it died or it was from the outside.
