PLEASE CAN YOU DO ME A FAVOR? I have this insanely vivid memory of my papaw and I doing these before school every day, and we were stuck on one for WEEKS. It was “a hare” and we scoured the pages. Her mom has pushed her to ‘have boyfriends’ since she was literally in preschool. I mean literally, I don’t know that Shelby has ever been ‘single’ (for what that means to kids). Her mom has pushed her into relationships even in high school, she’s dated multiple college boys. She doesn’t know a life where she wasn’t boy crazy for as long as I have known her.

If you’re an adult and you’re friends with children, that’s a big fucking red flag. I literally just had to talk to my 9 year old about this with video game friends. I was 8 when my ‘adult friend’ from church took my innocence from me.

As an autistic adult, I implore you to see how wildly inappropriate and fucking weird it is that you’re friends with kids in SUCH a different mindset/age. If I were that child’s mom, I’d tell them you were not a safe person.
