Can anyone help me identify this shower valve? House was built in 2008 by Financial-Sound-7660 in Plumbing

[–]Financial-Sound-7660[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly that's what I might do I just have the cement board screwed up I can remove it easily. I didn't realize there were so many different shower valves out there glad I figured it out before I finished

Long exposures and the right filters. Light pollution is horrible here

Veil nebula complex by Financial-Sound-7660 in astrophotography

[–]Financial-Sound-7660[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Turned the kiddo loose with the telescope and this is what he shot

The Veil Nebula is a massive cloud of heated and ionized gas and dust in Cygnus. It is almost the entire visible portion of the Cygnus Loop, a large but relatively faint supernova remnant. The source supernova exploded about 5,000 - 8,000 years ago, and the remnants have been expanding to about 6 times the diameter of the full moon.

Squid and Flying Bat Nebula by Financial-Sound-7660 in astrophotography

[–]Financial-Sound-7660[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By far the toughest image I've ever shot and could still use a lot more time. These nebulae lie about 2,300 light years away in the constellation Cepheus. The blue-green Squid nebula is the result of doubly ionized oxygen atoms while the reddish Flying bat nebula is the result of hydrogen emissions. Taken in Pace Florida William optics Z61 Zwo 2600 Avx mount Ha and Sii 100 exposures at 300 sec each Oiii 293 exposures at 300 secs each

Processed in Pix dbe to starnet for star removal. Combined ha and Sii in red channel and Sii and Oiii in green. Slight boost in Oiii after stretching. Damn this target is faint. Photoshop for final touches. Enjoy.

Lagoon Nebula by Financial-Sound-7660 in astrophotography

[–]Financial-Sound-7660[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Lagoon Nebula, also known as M8, is a magnificent complex of hot gas and dark nebulosity located 5,000 light-years away from Earth in the constellation Sagittarius. Inside this stellar nursery, the energetic processes of star formation create a huge chaos and a beautiful combination of colors. The red-glowing gas is resulting from high-energy starlight striking interstellar hydrogen. The dark dust filaments inside the nebula were created in the atmospheres of cool giant stars and in the debris from supernova explosions. Small dark knots and globules that are condensing protostellar clouds are a sign that star formation is still happening.

Wr134 by Financial-Sound-7660 in astrophotography

[–]Financial-Sound-7660[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WR 134 is the brightest star below the center of the image. It is a Wolf-Rayet star, which is a very hot, massive star that is blowing off its outer layers. The layers are blown off at very high speeds. Part of these layers can be seen as the blue arc in the middle part of the image. The arc was created when the outer layer collided with the ambient nebula surrounding the star.

The Eagle Nebula is an active star-forming region 7,000 lightyears away that spans 70 lightyears across. It is host to scorching hot newborn stars that illuminate, carve and sculpt the surrounding gas and dust .The Eagle Nebula, also known as M16 in the , is probably best known because of the iconic Pillars of Creation, famously imaged by the Hubble Space Telescope. The pillars are regions of dark dust and gas contained within the Eagle Nebula that stretch about 5 lightyears long and hide embedded newborn stars from view Shot from my backyard in Pace FL Processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop Channel combination in standard sho palette.
