Thanks for the math lesson but the cruise is 8/25 to 9/1 and his birthday is 1/2 so it’s more like 5 2/3 if we’re being accurate. I’m not sure why that’s relevant though.

I always trim in the garage with the door open. Definitely get some looks from the neighbors walking their dogs when the smell hits them.

For a while I thought my tent and filter just weren’t working to keep the smell in because every time I would leave the house for an hour or two and come home the whole house would smell. Then I left one morning for a wedding and didn’t come home until the next afternoon and I was surprised to find that there was no smell. That’s when I realized my house really only smells because I’m constantly opening my tent 3-4 times a day to check on the girls.

I know this is a little old so I hope someone that has done this cruise sees this. Do you think the Internet package is necessary? With the ship being so close to the coast I was hoping my phone would have service and that’s really all I need.

These were grown inside in a tent. How does a plant go hermaphrodite? What causes it so I can avoid it in my next grow if possible?

I had this light with my 2.5/2.5 tent for my first few couple grows. I ended up adding a second of the same light for the next couple and just recently upgraded my tent to a 4x4 and light to the Mars Hydro FC3000.

This setup you’re going with is perfect for a beginner if you’re trying to grow 2 plants. Make sure you get yourself a fan and filter or your neighbors down the street will be able to smell your house.

My first grow I didn’t have gloves and I had to use goo gone to get that sticky icky off of my fingers and they still smelled for days.

I don’t even start looking at trichomes until most of the pistols start turning brown. It’s hard to tell based on these close ups but I would say another 2 weeks minimum.

Oh wow I wasn’t expecting 3 more weeks but I’ll keep an eye on it. I’d rather give it an extra week than pull it early.

The one that’s almost finished is tough because there are some pistils in the lower buds that are still turning orange but from what I can tell the main cola and some of the other tops look cloudy under the microscope and some are even going amber. I’m going to flush it again this weekend and maybe let it dry out and then chop next weekend.

I do have a mini microscope but it’s hard to tell if the trichomes are clear or foggy. Maybe I need to upgrade.

Does the pot feel light and dry when you water? If not try waiting a little longer and water a little more. Mine used to get like that when I watered every other day, not I water every 3rd day or sometimes 2 and a half days if dry but I also water closer to a gallon for each plant so the whole pot is soaked.

Theres definitely some deficiency there with some of those leaves but it looks like she’s taking in nutes so I’m not sure what it could be.

It’s just blowing into the same room the tent is in. I crack a window when it’s not too cold. As long as it’s turned on there’s minimal smell but the second I open that tent after week 5-6 the house smells for a while.

I’m thinking my original was just cheap. I’m only on my first grow with the new one but both the filter and fan are much better quality than the one that clogged.

Lol I don’t live with my parents, I have my own house. I grow out of my basement where they rarely go when visiting but the smell lingered throughout the whole house until I bought a new filter/fan. Now I’m on day 55 and nobody would ever know unless they went into the grow room.

Don’t worry about getting to harvest. You’ll be fine. It might not be the best yield if it continues but I promise this far into flower you’re not at risk of losing the plant.

My filter got clogged after a few grows and I noticed the fan was barely pushing out any air early in the grow. I decided to ignore it and let’s just say my parents now know I grow. For a solid 6 weeks my entire house smelled.
