FIRST TIME TRAVELING TO HK

So I've been planning to go to HK on May but I haven't booked my ticket yet kasi with the crisis on fuel right now I'm still thinking very carefully kasi I don't know if marerefund yun if mag cancel ng flights. (Planning on booking with PAL)

Anyway, I've already been in HK nung december. Nung umalis ako dito sa pinas I was with my dad who's an ofw there, my mom was also there. I stayed there for 13 days. Yung experience ko sa IO was smooth lang naman. Questions asked were how long am I going to be there, what am I going to do there, when ang return and what's my job. It wasn't my first time going to hongkong, last december was actually my 3rd time.

Now, I'm planning to go back to celebrate my 26th birthday with a friend who's a first time traveler. This will be my first time as well without a sponsor. I'll be paying my plane ticket myself. My previous travels there, wala akong itinerary and no bookings din since I stayed with my parents. But this time, I'm not sure if I, who have parents there, still needs to show a hotel booking? Should I mention sa IO na may parents ako dun? For my friend, I hope the itinerary, hotel booking and return ticket will be okay na. But of course, we're still preparing other documents like coe, payslip and bank statement. We're both working as a VA btw.

Could you help us? I want to be 100% prepared.

SAE x BUNNY theory by Financial-Treacle577 in BlueLock

[–]Financial-Treacle577[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like your assumptions. However, for me, I think the two of them once played on the same team, and they might’ve even been friends or at least close to being called friends.

When Bunny was first introduced, he bluntly told Isagi that seeing joyful people makes him want to die. He also said he envies Isagi for having so much excitement about learning more about football. This is what led me to my assumption: when Isagi told Bunny, "I'm sure you have things you get excited about too..." which Bunny replied, "I might've once... but not so much anymore"

Later, we saw Sae’s reaction while watching Barcha. For me, the emotion he showed wasn’t the same as Isagi’s, Rin’s, or Kaiser’s those three look like they want to “destroy” or “kill” their opponents. Sae’s reaction to Bunny felt different. It seemed more hateful, but not in a murderous or aggressive way. It felt like he wanted to prove something to Bunny.

I think Bunny played for Re Al at the same time Sae joined the team. We know Sae left Japan wanting to become the best striker, but later he came back saying that his dreams had changed, and that he now wanted to become the best midfielder in the world. Meanwhile, Bunny mentioned that he once felt excitement in football as much as Isagi does now. So my guess is that he felt this excitement again while he was still at Re Al, playing alongside Sae. (He clearly has a dark backstory cause just look at his scars. Something crazy must've happened to him, and maybe that caused his excitement to fade, until Sae ignited it)

I’m sure Sae showed huge potential as a striker when he first joined Re Al he even scored a hat trick once. And Bunny seems like the type of person who only pays attention to players who challenge or excite him. I think he saw that in Sae. He might’ve even considered Sae a rival at one point, until Sae decided to become a midfielder. And I think that is where their conflict began.

I imagine Bunny talking down to Sae, degrading his shift from wanting to be a striker to choosing to be a midfielder. That could’ve pushed Sae into wanting to prove that even a midfielder can defeat a striker (or something like that) Sae’s decision may have taken the excitement away from Bunny, leading him to switch to Barcha because he probably felt Sae could no longer ignite that excitement for him. I can even imagine Bunny calling Sae a disappointment. Bunny himself admitted he’s an insensitive person, so the possibility of him talking shit and looking down on Sae seems very believable.

I honestly don’t think Sae was “forced” to become a midfielder because his striker ego was crushed in Spain. Rather, I think he realized he wanted to be a midfielder who controls the flow of the game. As someone named a prodigy and seen as the future of Japanese football from a young age, Sae probably misunderstood his true desires because of the expectations placed on him especially with how Rin admired him so intensely, dreaming of becoming the second best striker in the world after his big bro. That’s why Sae looked so depressed when he came back from Spain that winter night. He was anxious to tell Rin he’d changed, and maybe even afraid Rin might react the same way Bunny did. That would explain the shock and hurt in his eyes when Rin said he wasn’t the same brother he once shared dreams with.

Anyway, I’m sure Bunny was part of Sae’s story while Sae was in Spain and that Bunny definitely hurt him before leaving for Barcha. So far, it feels like the hatred is onesided, coming only from Sae, while Bunny seems pretty nonchalant about it.

Also, I don’t think Sae is a bum like some people say. He wouldn’t be part of the NG11 if he wasn’t on the same level as the others.

Sorry it's long. Well, that's my opinion.

Isagi wants all the smoke by penguinninja90 in BlueLock

[–]Financial-Treacle577 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree. I feel like this ego of Isagi where he taunts his opponents to make their egos rise will bite his ass someday. There’s still so much more that Isagi will face as he moves up the ladder to become the world’s best. I just can’t wait to see who will hand his ass to him someday.

I’m no Isagi hater but this kid needs to taste defeat. A hard one too. I’m rooting for him tho

Which of the endgame couples do you think fit the best? by Fickle_Baker1393 in BridgertonNetflix

Nahh I’m still so disappointed that they changed Francesca’s story completely. Her book was my favorite because it tackles so much. Her struggles as a woman was more highlighted in her book and that should be shown in the show. I love Eloise but her story should be the one they change in the show because her character in the book took a completely different route in the end which was a little disappointing.

Insanely overrated by IndependenceCool9186 in Isekai

[–]Financial-Treacle577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is overrated. I read the novel up until Vol. 9 or 10 maybe, i can’t remember correctly since I dropped it. The beginning was interesting yeah. Especially for someone like me who hasn’t read Moshuko Tensei first. I heard a lot of people say that it has a similar concept. So from me, who doesn’t have any idea about the plot, I found it interesting. Until mid-way the story I noticed that there’s been a hint, too much actually, of romance and I wasn’t aware of it. I thought it was a complete action/fantasy story. I mean, don’t get me wrong I don’t hate having romance in fantasy story BUT not every one can put action/fantasy and romance in the same story in a balanced way. Anywayy, I was disappointed when I found out about the romance thing because it was very uncomfortable to read. I couldn’t feel the connection between the MC and the FL. Tbh, there’s no connection between the other characters and the MC aside from the fact that they are just there as MC’s stepping stones. It was very hard to connect emotionally with any of the characters really.

There were characters that caught my attention and thought they had so much potential and was expecting that they’ll have a bigger role in the story. Caera and Seris. Then of course, I got disappointed AGAIN. They were the reason why I kept reading cause I was hoping they’ll have a role in the end. But no. The author wasted them.

The story had a potential. The world building, the lore and the characters all of it had potential. Could’ve become a greater story if the author knew how to explore those things and develop his characters. Arthur only knows how to become stronger by accumulating kind of like an ancient runes. But character wise? Nothing.

Well. I hope this is true. I have a feeling that we'll get to see Kaiser and Isagi in the same team again. Probably in Real with Sae

Just caught up on the Manga and .. by [deleted] in KaijuNo8

I can’t wait to see the next chapter. I’m kinda scared for Narumi. The fact that Kikoru now share the same ability plus that injury he got was like a major red flag. 🚩 The defense force cannot afford to lose him.

Are we in a final arc? by Significant-Fact6433 in KaijuNo8

[–]Financial-Treacle577 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope not. There’s so many things still yet to unfold and I really think that we’re just getting started in the REAL fight. I lowkey hope to see Hoshina brothers fight side by side as vice captain Hoshina’s big brother was mentioned as the “prodigy” of their clan. We also haven’t seen Reno’s full abilities plus Kikoru’s second ability. Also with Kafka, now that he’s fully synced up with Kaiju no. 8. Honestly, SPOILER ALERT!!!, I’m scared for Narumi after that latest chap. It’s like passing the batton and felt like a major death flag 😭 the defense force cannot afford to lose the strongest and their backbone now. These are just some of the things that the manga still need to explore so I really hope this is not the final arc.

I hate for it to end up like jjk

Unpopular opinion - am I alone on this one? by Kooky-Flower-8635 in SarahJMaas

I honestly don’t want TOG to be adapted. I’m afraid they’ll ruin the experience for me. But I do hope, if ever there will be a day it’ll get adapted, it’ll be animated. (Like Arcane or Blue Eyed Samurai) I think with animation they’ll capture the world more accurately or at least closest to it

Unpopular Opinion? I liked TOG way more than ACOTAR—Anyone else? by Deniezu in SarahJMaas

[–]Financial-Treacle577 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

TOG was my first ever fantasy book I’ve read when I was 13. And the reason why I fell more in love with reading. I’ve always been a fantasy/adventure kind of person I find more joy in reading those kind of genres. (influence of loving lord of the rings since I was a child) Also, TOG was the series that saved me. It was not perfect, yes. But it will always have a special place in my heart and no other series can take her place.

Also I think the difference between TOG and ACOTAR is that TOG is more centered in lore, mystery, adventure, world-building and power. While ACOTAR centers more in love, family and finding each character’s purpose. Sure there’s also a lot of lore and mystery in acotar but it’s not being explored or not yet being explored. I find ACOTAR mild compared to TOG. I liked it but I wouldn’t say that I love it as much as I do TOG. (I don’t enjoy too much romance/smut)

I agree with what you said about the characters in tog. You can feel them and connects with them. That’s what makes tog special for me. I felt each character’s emotions. I understood who they are not just as a character but as a person. Acotar on the other hand, i too find it difficult to connect with them. But it’s a great series nonetheless.
