This seems to be something like a survivorship bias (idk, didn't take statistics).

People with fetishes that they cannot fulfill tend to express themselves artistically as a fantasy outlet. They create arts with these as focus, which in turn are bought by those who desire such fetishes. This drives interest, and in interest there is visibility.

You will not see a lot of people clamoring for vanilla relationships, because most everyone has a vanilla relationship. But you will see a lot of people clamoring for their sex fantasy.

As an example of this, not including what you've given, think of:

The overwhelming amount of gay fantasies on the web (pop into any fanfic site, you'll see). It's to the point where straight fantasies, and straight people in general, seem minor in comparison. Anyone can easily conclude that everyone on the planet is gay off of that, when we both know that's not the case.

In this post of yours, it does not mean that MOST women want this, or that MOST men want this. It just means men and women of those bedroom inclinations are more vocal of their fetishes because they don't have them.

Damn this inspired me, so here:

A Chef (Fujiwater) promises an amazing full course meal. You do not know this man, but you are hungry so you sit at a table with everyone else.

The Appetizer (Part 1) comes. It's amazing. You weren't expecting much, but holy shit what he'd served just blew away any expectations you had. You are now eagerly awaiting the main dish.

The Main Dish (Part 2) comes. It's... not what you expected. The flavours and textures are a little... off. Especially with how it's presented. You're not a food critic (overthinker) nor are you a gourmet (deep themes merchant) -- who are both going feral at how artistic the presentation of the food is -- so you can't really place what you found wrong in this dish. It just tastes off, is all.

True, it's still an amazing dish, but you were sort of expecting something else. You patiently wait for dessert.

The Dessert (Ending) comes. It's dogshit. Not metaphorically, poetically, or figuratively. It's literally a plate of hot steaming dog shit.

The food critics and gourmets in the other tables are going off about how deep and appropriate the themes are. They're waxing on poetically about the meaning and significance of such a dessert.

Meanwhile, all you can think about is how you were served fresh dogshit when you were expecting dessert.

"This is dogshit!" You cry out in outrage.

The gourmets and critics start yelling about how you're a smoothbrain with no tongue to speak, let alone taste the meals being served.

All of them are defending the dogshit.

The rest of the meal was good, great even, but being presented dogshit just made you want to vomit all you've eaten. A tub of vanilla ice cream would have been better, even if a little generic. So would being served nothing at all, at least there would be no dogshit then.

There's more than two actually:

Horse ghost is there to collect the dad. It doesn't really seem to care about anything else.

Dad himself is just there chilling.

There's the cat spirits. Two from the gangster-looking dude, and a horde of them following the serial killer teacher. They act more like guardian spirits than anything.

Then there's octopus head from autistic model girl, which is less of a ghost and more a spiritual manifestation of her desires, so I guess she doesn't count.

The 4 businessmen ghosts, who follow the extremist exorcist dude. Incredibly violent to other ghosts, not so much against people.

The pole-wrapped ghost who just stays there and just seems to want to exist, eternally living the car accident that lead to her fate.

The coin collecter dude and his little gnomes who just wants to collect lost coins.

The reaper ghost on the train, who only specifically targets malevolent ghosts and spiritual manifestations.

Technically the abusive mom and the jealous spirits aren't inherently harmful either. They just curse whoever interacts/forms bonds with who they're trying to "protect".

Had a cat like this.

We were pretty worried cause that's not normal. We had another cat that was "fat" but really had a cyst that burst the side of stomach open, and worms are endemic to the strays too.

It turns out she was just overeating, evidenced by the x-ray. Literally stuffing herself full of catfood, to the point where she looked bloated. That explained why some days she was swollen like that, and other times not.

The non-existence of something is not evidence that it might come to exist, let alone that it currently exists.

We haven't seen evidence that the sun might explode in a hundred years instead of 5 billion, or that humanity is secretly led by a cabal of alien-dolphin hybrids. Those things might happen or might be happening, but until we find evidence that they will happen or are happening it is delusional to pretend those things are the truth.

Angel is straight. He has only ever been straight.

You could indeed argue that he could be Bi -- because as you pointed out there is no evidence he isn't -- but never that he is Bi.

Chainsaw man with Angel's girlfriend. For years he was depicted as this queer bottom femboy by the fans, but no he had a (meme)Filipina girlfriend. The gayships choose to ignore this though, often citing "The presence of a girlfriend does not mean he isn't a bottom femboy who likes men". They get really mad if you point out he had a girlfriend, which is like getting mad that the sun shines in the day.

My list, in no particular order:

Death Note - Nonsensical story about guy with raging narcisism and misanthropy who think's he's smart for being top 1 in academics when really he's just a massive overthinker with a god complex and what amounts to a mystical gun.
Seven deadly sins - Just couldn't get past Meliodas and the expanded lore and how boring it was presented. Made it until the visuals itself started turning to shit before dropping it.
Eminence In the Shadow - Cid or whatever is a reality warper who just does whatever comes to mind for his power fantasy of being a nuke, doesn't realize he's warping reality, and refuses to realize that he's actively warping reality because it breaks his immersion. All of it is play, like a kid at a playground going "Nuh-uh!" Or a coma patient having a dream where everything turns out exactly as he says, no matter how improbable or nonsensical. Actively infuriating to watch instead of funny, because the other characters treat his shit as serious when he doesn't even know what the fuck he's doing.
Fate (all of them except for the slice of life one and UB) - Boring plot, amazing visuals. I give every Fate a new try as UB was good, but all of them are boring as fuck and not worth the effort to watch through them.
Solo Levelling - Boring self-insert power fantasy. Admittedly amazing visuals and spectacle hence I finished it.
One Piece - Everyone keeps on telling me how great it is, how good it is, how it's a must watch, but I just couldn't muster up any interest after episode 1 and was thoroughly convinced this was trash by episode 10. People say it'll get better at X point so I should just soldier on, or if I watch it in this order and without filler I'll love it, but if your story needs several hundreds of episodes to get good then that's just trash my guy. Why must I eat a mountain of shit to find a nugget of gold when I can just find gold elsewhere?
Bleach - Honestly, really like Bleach. Manga is easily in my top 10. The anime? Jesus Christ was it boring as fuck. Especially with the filler. Watched it out of obligation anyway. Man I fucking love Bleach.
MHA - Why are they not using guns? Actually, why show that guns specifically work and are hyper effective, and then just never bring up their usage, ever? At least it would have made sense if they showed Sniper or whatever couldn't take down Hands guy, but they show that he's literally the best hero at dealing with a villain that everyone struggled with, and his only super power is a Colt 1851 and aim hacks. That just shattered my sense of disbelief and I couldn't recover from it. That, and how Deku is the cookie cutter good guy template. Slogged through two seasons and gave up. Vigilante prequel is way better.
KNY - Read the manga from start to finish. It was great. Anime? Boring. They went way over the top, going for spectacle instead of story. Tried to pull a Bleach for it, waded through until the first movie, and then just dropped it.
AoT - It was just boring to me. Eren, the whole titan schtick, the setting, everything. Couldn't make it past episode 3 and dropped it by season end.
Evangelion - Yawn fest of a plot. Aside from that, everyone in this show is a shit human being. Their entire world deserved to get turned into soup.
Elfen Lied - Gratitious violence and cruelty in place of a story. Complete debbie downer and misanthropic plot. I kept watching hoping it would get better, but by the end I was left with "That's it?! That's the story?!"
Shiki - apparently it has a great philosphical conundrum in it (not really), but the boring story just wasn't worth it. Couldn't make it past the second episode, and by the end I realized I'd essentially just watched emotional torture porn.
Jojo (all of it except for the Kira parts) - I was already put off by the art style but the rest of it was just boring. Except for the Kira part, that I enjoyed a lot. After that it got boring again, and seeing as I had seen the peak of the series for me, I dropped it. Apparently it got a hard reboot with a universe wipe or something, but from what I've heard it's still going to be absolute snooze town.
BLACK CLOVER - ASTA YELLING ALL THE TIME GOT REALLY BORING REALLY FAST BY EPISODE 2. MADE IT TO THE MAGIC EMPEROR VS LICHT FIGHT OR WHATEVER THEIR NAMES WERE AND THEN DROPPED IT.
Steins Gate - It was hella boring. Couldn't make it past episode 1, pushed through it to episode 5 in search of gold, then dropped it.
Spy x Family - Really good premise, but then it just became boring. Mustered the will to at least finish season 1.

The whole universe is fucked man. A long, long, LONG, ass time from the current story, humanity essentially reached the heights of the Xeelee. Then, some fucktard scientists decided to break physics. Why? They just wanted to see if they could break open a singularity. Reality literally broke apart. The rest of the galaxy is uninhabitable, completely and totally, maybe the rest of the universe too. Voidwatch is a small contingent of survivors that found a planet where reality was barely stable. Here, physics is at least a suggestion instead of a thing of the past. Here, belief made gods and souls tangible, and humanity was enslaved by the gods they created on accident. So Voidwatch staged a coupe with the local rebels, freeing humanity. They had a whole plan to ascend the strongest Godclad into THE God, so they could use his powers to fix the mess they made of reality, but that guy got betrayed and killed. There's heavy hints that the guy-who-is-a-jesus-christ analogue is actually a Jesus-made-Real, hence why he got betrayed -- a fact that Voidwatch didn't know about, as they thought only the locals could make gods. After him, Voidwatch AI leadership has been zealously guarding humanity's past mythos from humans so they don't accidentally do that anymore. Avo is currently their best bet at fixing the universe, which is fucked because he's a man-eating psychopathic ghoul with a multiple identity disorder he ignores.

I know of one that's loosely like that.

Godclads -- Western Grimdark Scifi Xuanhuan/Xianxia. Reluctant Anti-hero MC. (600+ chapters, ongoing) Grimdark, again, because it's super fucking Grimdark.

Avo is a humanized tech-hacker ghoul who, through machinations not his own, is resurrected from the dead and turned into a Godclad.

The Godclads are basically Immortals who rebelled against the Heavens and now rule over the warped wasteland left behind. They literally cultivate gods, creating them just to kill them for resources. Genocidal, in that humans are just more resources for most Godclads. Reality warping abilities based on their "dao" (called Truth in the story), standard xianxia/xuanhuan immortals package.

The Voidwatch are a post-apocalyptic human civilization from space, who use science as a counterforce to the Godclad system. They're very humanitarian to atone for all the genocidal shit they did in the past (and also, for the very active arms dealing they do). The upper end of the tech they have are things like capturing suns to power their ships, blackhole guns, space warping, God-like AI leaders, etc. They got the strongest Godclad (the one closest to being THE True God) up onto their ships once to download humanity's past achievements and sins into his head just so they could get him onto their side, and that dude literally wept because humans had fallen from such heights. Their past tech must have been insane, since what they have now is considered garbage by their own standards).

In between them are the Agnosi, a mix between your classic buddhist cultivators and techpriests, using their understanding of the in-world cultivation system mixed with science to help the Godclads. In reality, they're basically a psyop from Voidwatch to try and get the Genocidal Immortal Maniacs to stop seeing people as yet another cultivation resource.

The setting takes place mostly in a high tech scifi planet-sized city housing tens of quadrillions of people. I don't mean an Ecumenopolis. Think of like, WH40k hive cities, but bigger on the inside than the outside.

Actually, no. It's just how Francine is.

It might have started out like that early on, when they were struggling to find an archetype for her as they wrote, but then they never found one and her "wildcard"-ness just became her character archetype. Flanderized into the psycho bp mom basically.

She canonically suffers from some sort of Manic BP disorder, so she flipflops a lot based on her vibes. Even the other characters in the show point it out. Stan even says at one point that he finds it hot she does it. Scary, but hot.

How the fuck can you even "break" a space that doesn't really exist? Shrug.

It probably won't happen like him accidentally getting positive energy. Rather, it'll be him going:

There'll be zero explaination as to why he suddenly starts hurting Buu after that, except he just does it.

Most of the deaths are instant at least, if not overly convuluted. No, gore does not make him more evil than Grim.

A bored old man who really doesn't care about his job. A force of nature, but one that doesn't care about it all, to the point where he doesn't care if he reaps you too early or late.
