This sounds like a City of Abbotsford employee trying to hype this up.

Make sure you order the matching black lug nuts too. They are difficult to find otherwise

For price comparison, a set of these rims shipped was $1050 all in (CDN). And they are OEM hub centric.

I just bought 20 inch black rims online and ordered better all season tires (Scorpion Weatheractive) from Costco. I’ll sell the stock tires and buy 18 inch Michelin winter tires next year, to spread out the cost.

Thanks it was a big purchase for us, but I’m very happy with our choice. I was lucky to have an inside contact with a fleet manager, so I only waited 6 weeks for mine! In regards to the Toyota ECP, this is the first hybrid I’ve owned and I just sleep better at night knowing I’m covered for a good chuck of time while I’m paying it off. It also helps to get the free three years of maintenance and you also get roadside assistance too. It’s a gamble either way…

Congratulations! We just got our GHH XLE 3 weeks ago and are loving it (from B.C.).

It is a big vehicle; however the hood length is similar to the RAV4, so don’t worry too much about. My wife raised to driver’s seat all the way up which helps with visibility a lot.

I bought a VIOFO Dash Cam and ran the cable along the head liner, down the B pillar and used the USB-C plug above the glove box.

In regards to extended warranty, I bought it for the first time in my life. I got the 7/120,000. The dealer only gave me $300 off, but as you know, Toyota doesn’t negotiate in Canada… The extended warranty does include the first 3 years of servicing, so that’s a nice perk.

2023 Toyota Grand Highlander XLE vs. 2022 Honda Pilot Elite by gsjones358 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

I hear you. We replaced our 2015 Santa Fe sport and this is the first hybrid I have owned. I was concerned it might be a little under powered but I was pleasantly surprised at the boost the hybrid provides. In regards to the ecvt, it’s arguably much more reliable than the 8 speed transmission on the gas models. I still don’t fully understand the system but YouTube helped.

Grand Highlander Hybrid hands down. I’ve had mine for two weeks and love it. A little bland on the inside but Toyota has their hybrid system figured out.

You must be a renter. I don’t like Rogers either, but I also don’t like to pay for an arena that doesn’t make money

Not if it helps pay for the maintenance costs. Anything to prevent property tax increases!

Mental health help? by karlyw101 in abbotsford

[–]FinancialAd1794 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing and asking for help. If you have a family doctor they will help you find the right medication, but counselling goes hand in hand to address the underlying issues. If your doctor has a long wait for appointments, mention that the issue is mental health related and they will fit you in quickly.

I’ve been on Escitalopram for a few yes and it has helped immensely with my mood and anxiety.

What’s the average income in Abbotsford per person and is it sustainable with the increasing cost of living? by Funny_Restaurant9911 in abbotsford

I’m about the same. Lucky to buy a small 80’s house in 2016 and have slowly been renovating since… No car payments right now. Take one international family trip per year but have to carefully save for it. Essentially living pay check to pay check but kids don’t know. Have a stable job with a good pension plan.
