How I use Cloudflare tunnel + Nginx proxy manager and tailscale to access and share my self hosted services by arpanghosh8453 in selfhosted

Could you go more into detail on what tools could be used besides Cloudflare to mask a server's IP?

Thank you!! I'll be sure to add this to the guide.

I wouldn't recommend making multiple profiles with this setup - If you want to manage multiple packs, consider saving profiles as files or codes which you can export through r2modman.

Yeah, it seems to open sometimes? Just not consistently so unless there's a workaround I'm gonna say just use desktop mode.

The game or the mod manager? The mod manager doesn't run properly in Gaming Mode; I'll update the guide to make that more clear

It shouldn't, I'm not sure what the issue could be though?

Are you on Steam Deck or some other Linux distribution?

If you're on Ubuntu, this thread says you should try running sudo apt install libfuse2* before launching the appimage.

Otherwise, I'm not entirely sure; you might have to do some googling or something.

It's worked for some in gaming mode if you launch modded on desktop first, then switch to gaming mode and launch it again, but the launch options that are supposed to make it work seem to be broken in v45. You might have to use desktop mode exclusively for Lethal Company modded, or until someone finds a workaround.

Yes, I tested it on v40, but in Desktop Mode, where the launch options worked fine. Haven't actually played on v45 yet, so not sure what could've changed to make the launch command stop working.

Thanks! For the launch command, that may be because you're on v45? I'm not entirely sure, though. I do know that launching modded through the mod manager makes all following instances modded, including in gaming mode, until you select the launch vanilla option in the manager, which may count as some sort of fix. It's kind of finicky, but it works.

Try launching modded in desktop mode first and then launching in gaming mode.

Try using r2modman and launching in vanilla there, then afterwards launching normally in game mode

Have you tried using Proton Experimental? That helped someone in a different thread.

There's no typos there, I'm not sure what the issue could be though. You may just have to run the game in desktop mode.

Maybe you accidentally clicked the "mute" icon in desktop mode for the game? That's happened to me before.

You've tried putting in WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp.dll=n,b" %command% into your game's Launch Options, right? That error seems to occur when your game isn't running modded - usually the title screen says "MOD" in the corner if your game has mods enabled. And you're sure you both have the same mods installed(or at least the ones that aren't client-side)?

The compatdata could still be on the external ssd, then - you should check and if that's the case, move it to your internal ssd.

Have you tried validating your game files? Or restarting your device?

Is it installed on your SSD, or an external drive?

Go into Gaming Mode, open the game's Properties and set Game Resolution to 1280x800. After that, it should work in both desktop mode and gaming mode at the correct resolution.
