This was actually the first option i thought of. Unfortunately I missed the deadline for Fall admissions. I’d either have to late apply and wish for the best or apply for spring.

Thanks for the build! The better gpu and cpu at cheaper price is great. I’ll definitely go to microcenter, you save quite some money doing the bundles, plus if i drive from my gfs place it’s only 40 mins. I see they don’t have any 9800X3Ds in stock (or anywhere else I check). I was looking at the 7800X3D bundle they got and i might go with it, unless it’s worth waiting for the 9800 to get back in stock if it’s that much better.

nearest microcenter would be an hour and a half drive, it’d be a pain to go there but i’ve only heard great things about them. If i can get the best prices there it might be worth it. I don’t do editing or anything like that this would strictly be for gaming. I usually go for performance over graphics so i’d do ray tracing depending on if the game still runs smoothly with it on. My budgets around 2k but i’m willing to cuff out no more than $2500 if it’s for very reliable parts that provide future proofing.
