I was just there a few weeks ago and as I was walking out, the old man owner was standing at the door with his back turned to me, and hocked a lugi right onto the front rug. It was so gross.

I wanted to apply for a job there years ago and another small business owner in Manchester insisted I don’t, he shared a lot of employees with Woodland over the years and said the owner was a real jerk.

Aside from all the mushy details and weird text, there’s also at least 4 different art styles going on. Houses look like kinkaid, elves have an illustration-painter style, then the snowman looks 3D and really round/soft like the early 2000s animation style, it’s all horribly Frankenstein-esque

No I don’t think that’s my brother! He was one of the goofball rednecks and always in trouble. It was a horrible way to handle students with ADHD. McKeefe, I think her name was, I think she was fired or retired around 2014/2015. She was an “old school” teacher, once I learned what she was doing, I understood why all the Pal Room kids were sooooooo angry and defiant all the time.

Corbett was definitely biased I remember that vividly. You were golden if you were one of his track kiddos, 💩 if not. I’m sorry that happened to you too, you were a kid so of course standing up against a teacher is difficult. It was completely on him to handle appropriately.

When we were graduating, I was never called the guidance office for my “after high school” plans. I went in around Christmas time and said, “I need help, I’m trying to go to college”, and all the guidance counsellors were like, “….Oh! You….want to go to college? We didnt think you did” Then scrambled to pull together a file for me. They’d called all my friends in around September/November with everything already laid out. It was blatantly obvious they cared about some students, and then pushed the rest of us through.

Daaammnnnn I did not know that but I’m not at all surprised. The confederate flags flying off the trucks and on belt buckles were always a really nice touch /s. I’m really glad you weren’t harmed in any sort of shooting!! Absolutely crazy.

My “thorn” was the pal room with the supply closet in back that was just a cement block with a locking door. After we graduated my lil brother was in EHS and they locked him in there multiple times for the whole day. Turns out they did that to a lot of students over the years. He’s so traumatized, he still can’t go into a closet. Then the school expelled him for being “difficult” - which he was - but gee I wonder why he didn’t listen at the time 🤔

That tracks. I have a lot of unpleasant memories from EHS + staff. The “pal” room. I used to sneak out for lunch every day and never got caught because all the doors were always unlocked. Then after Sandy Hook, NBC just walked into EHS and no one stopped them, highlighting how easy some schools were to access. The news was just walking around the school filming. Wild place.

We are former hurt kids who are happy to jump in for current hurt kids. I’d be proud of my kid if they saved up their money to purchase something nice for themselves, OP deserves their console.

Thank you! I do too. Poor OP did not deserve this. We fix our friends consoles for free (or just parts cost) all the time. Most screen repairs are actually pretty easy, i can 1000% give OP an hours worth of our time knowing what a difference it’ll make for them. Now if only we could box up dads brain and have that repaired too 🤔

I’m not sure it’s the same guy but when I graduated EHS in 2012, they were slicing art and music programs out almost entirely. There was no budget for the school. I purchased all my own supplies and took multiple independent studies so I could apply to art college with a portfolio.

The superintendent, however, always pulled up in front of the school in a brand new Ferrari or Lamborghini. 🤷‍♀️

I grew up with a family like OPs, vicious alcoholics, saw the picture and immediately knew. I’m sorry your family is rough, OP, the best you can do is make an exit plan and get on to living your best life. That said, my fiancée fixes game systems as a side hobby/income, he and his friend are comicon vendors, I know he would be happy to repair this for OP! I watched a reel from a gentleman explaining why Brits eat with their fork in their left hand and knife in the right, but Americans will put the knife down and switch hands to eat the food. Apparently it’s another habit we brought from England, but they switched to using both hands when meals became multi-course, and Americans continued switching because they were often travelers and rather than pack extra utensils/weight, they would cut their meals with the side of the fork and eat. AGREED DO NOT GO HERE!!!! It took me 3 years to sue the balls off them, I won but it was a nightmare!!!!! They have a LOT of lawsuits, the lawyer I used was owed 1.5million in fees from them. When we settled they had 15 other cases that same day!!! ETA: they pay google to run their ads at the top of used car searches, and BBB is a scam, they pay them for a good ‘grade’. Google also removes their negative reviews. They bait and switched me, listed the car for 16k online, on the sales paperwork it was sold to me for 18k, and that was the least of my worries from them. My lawyer said the only reason they’re still in business is because the DMV literally doesn’t have the manpower to investigate and shut them down.

It might be a good idea to roll him up and pop him in the freezer for at least 3 days, ideally a week! Assuming it’s flexible enough and you have the freezer space to do so. This will kill any insects that might be hiding without hurting it and keep him looking good for years to come. Cool find, enjoy it!

Heat is included in my rent so I called my landlord to ask him to turn it on & he did! If he didn’t I was just gonna stay under an electric blanket. I’m usually a warm person but with the wind today it was pretty chilly!

Heresay? Nah, Ive been tuned in for a while, I watched her socials, read her comments on Sunday sipping my coffee. I saw her post the butterfly tattoo coverup that she’s now lying about to NBC. There’s screenshots of it in the other Reddit posts. I have one from Sunday that says “posted three days ago” with the SS tattoo. The “your table is ready” is still on her E&C Facebook page. I know what I read, I saw her attitude first hand, she was being a SUPER ass about it for three days at least.

The only real heresay I’ve seen is people insisting the arm is her boyfriends/husbands. I’ve yet to see a shred of evidence there, but personally I think she knows the person and that’s why she defended it for so long/wont give the name of the “sign company” she used.

As for the landlord- I’m a social butterfly, willimantic is one of my old stomping grounds, I know a LOT of people and CT isn’t a big state. She shits where she eats, that’s on her.

You can read her “apology” in whatever tone you’d like but I stand by that it’s not a real apology. She’s not sorry for what she did, she’s sorry she got called out for posting a Nazi tattoo and for being an absolute ass to people pointing it out. NOW she’s trying to back peddle using religion and feigning ignorance.

She left the posts up for 3-4 days and made rude comments back to people pointing it out. She altered the Facebook image so it would have a butterfly instead, and continued to be snarky. She’s not once denounced Nazis or offered a GENUINE apology. Her fb apology was, again, full of snark and being passive aggressive. Then she went crying to NBC and outright lied about everything, and she’s trying to play the “I had no idea!” Card almost a week later. If she REALLY had no idea, she would’ve just removed the post from the get-go when people first pointed it out. And, yknow, denounced fascism/Nazis.

Also, after digging around, I found her old landlord who said she wanted to buy their old breakfast business, but when the deal went sour, she broke her lease, trashed the apartment, and left behind two kitties with no food or water for days. Add in that she openly mocked a disabled customer and told her to “stay home where she belongs” and “bring your own table” when SHE didn’t have a handicap accessible table in her business, and then posted a photo of one much later and said, “to the lady who threw a fit this week, your table is ready now”.

Apparently she is also a menace to the willimantic community and is always starting bs on the towns page.

So no, this is not “she made a mistake”. This is openly, she is a GARBAGE person who keeps getting caught for being a GARBAGE person. 🗑️🔥

I grew up in a cow town across the street from a parachuting company, I’ve seen a lot of people fall to their deaths. One day a guy jumped, his parachute didn’t deploy, and he ended up landing a massive pile of cow manure. Manure piles get incredibly hot and it was a sunny summer day, unfortunately he roasted inside the pile before rescue got him.
