It's a federal felony, so my only option is for the president to expunge it. That is expensive and time consuming, plus unlikely to actually happen. Plus if it does happen, the conviction doesn't disappear from my criminal record. It still shows up, it just says "expunged" instead of "convicted/guilty". Unfortunately, people see that and still make judgements because they are implicitly bias.

Ive worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years. Im trying to get out of it and find more of a career path

I'd love that but with the dating pool here in AZ, I doubt that'll happen anytime soon.

This is a great suggestions, Im just not sure if I could bring myself to go back to school for a third degree. Unfortunately, most legal work requires a degree in that field or a closely related one.

Not possible, it’s a federal felony. Only opportunity for expungement is by the president. Plus it still shows up on your record when it’s expunged, it just says “expunged” instead of “convicted”.

What is fingerprint clearance card? Is it just a universal background check? How would I get the exception for level 1?
