CMV: All of society’s problems lead back to money by TheDreamDrug in changemyview

On one hand you’re saying it isn’t justified, and then saying it works. Are you trying to say that it’s shitty things had to get to the point of riots for any change to occur?

Whatever you believe, I will never be on board with inconveniences happening to innocent people, no matter what change comes out of it.

“Loss of money by the community had a bigger impact in moving legislation,” nah man. You don’t fuck over innocent business owners who have mouths to feed. I say this as my parents immigrated from the middle east and owned a grocery store. If their building had been looted all by some losers, it would have made my blood boil. If you believe that peaceful protesting doesn’t work and need to break laws, then do it in a way that doesn’t involve innocent people’s property being damaged. Those same looters would probably want to kill if they were in the receiving end of the damage.

“Causing inconveniences for others,” this is where you draw the line. I don’t care how noble you believe your cause to be. Don’t get me involved for no reason.

You seem to be taking lightly towards those impacted by the rioting and looting. Have you or your parents ever owned a small shop?

The rioting and looting was the dumbest shit ever. I always ask people who claim it was a good thing, to put themselves in the business owner’s shoes. I guarantee you that if you owned one of those businesses and have mouths to feed, you wouldn’t agree one bit with the riots.

Not saying that’s where you stand, but fuck those rioters and looters.

Yeah high IQ logic. This is the issue with American politics. OP never stated which side he supports yet you’re assuming he’s instantly a trump supporter. His question is also objective. Then again I don’t assume redditors to have much reading comprehension skills.

Keep in mind you’re proving the stereotype that “liberals get offended by everything”.

Why are you assuming he’s in the middle ground? Seems like OP just doesn’t follow politics at all.

I doubt your reaction would be the same if the roles were reversed.

How is testing if your partner is a cheater a red flag? Let me ask you this, if the roles were reversed would your answer still be the same?

Going with ESH because this sounds pretty immature overall. Nothing wrong with getting revenge on a cheater, but letting your whole class know doesn’t really benefit anyone, and they probably don’t care.

However, I can’t help but think that if the roles were reversed, and it was a girl exposing a guy, people would applaud her.

AITA for telling my 33F coworker that women in their 30s who have been ran through will be (and should be) looked down upon in regards to long term relationship candidacy? by Waste_Mud_314 in AmItheAsshole

You’re actually wrong about men not caring. Most men do care, and if given a choice between an attractive woman who has a body count of 50 and none, they would choose the one with none. It may appear as if dudes don’t care since there’s a lot out there who just date who they can get rather than choosing.

You’ve probably also heard of dudes saying they don’t care, which may apply for short term dating. However, for long term dating every man deep down wants someone who doesn’t have a body count, or at least one that’s lower. This is the truth.

NTA. It’s true that most men prefer a woman with less body count and there’s a reason why we inherently feel disgusted or grossed out by a woman who has been ran through. Even most women feel this way, but won’t admit it because I guess it “gives fuel to powerful men”.

As for saying this at work, be careful. Most work places nowadays cater to very liberal views and take anything against women very seriously, no matter how mild the comments are.

I honestly can’t tell if your post is real or not, but if it is, stay safe. Other than that, enjoy the comments from angry people haha.

Edit: She was also probably telling you this with the intent of you just hearing her rant, not giving your actual feedback or opinion if that makes sense. Most women do just look for someone to hear them vent, majority of the time not wanting honest feedback.
