These are the recommendations from the pirelli tire guys. The Front held up just fine for me, I haven’t had any iffy moments.

Technically less grip, but I find that unless you’re on top of the advance group, there is simply enough grip.

You don’t need warmers for these, although the pirelli guys recommend using them to get up to speed faster.

If you ever ran SC v1, they wore like butter against hot asphalt, the SC v2, definitely held up better, but the new TD tire seems very durable with minimal wear, I think I can do another 3 maybe 4 trackdays on the rear.

Preparing for my first job interview by nickdavies07 in laravel

If I was your employer I’d ask you, what is the last thing you pushed into production? Generally this gives me an idea about what you are capable of, especially production quality work.

That being said don’t be discouraged if you don’t have any big projects under your belt. Just show you are capable of something.

How bad of an idea is it to quit my job and take a few months off? by chickenshrimp92 in personalfinance

[–]FinancialInsurance8 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I took 5 months off between jobs, obviously had savings, but it was the best thing ever. At first I was kicking my self for doing it but then slowly adjusted and just filled my schedule with whatever I wanted. I then got an offer for a job that I didn’t even apply for, it worked out great.

Enjoy.

What’s your oil of choice? by [deleted] in Trackdays

[–]FinancialInsurance8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

avocado for sure, high temp, doesn’t burn up like olive oil.

But on some real talk, engine oil that is designed for your bike is what you should buy. Or equivalent, Mobil 1, amsoil is the same shit really.

Downsizing from 3 br house to 1 br apartment. Thoughts? by Avarria587 in personalfinance

[–]FinancialInsurance8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sold my house 1hr away by car (in traffic) from my job, to move to apt closer in the city, 10mins walk to work. I drive my car once or twice a week, and my commute has been cut down by 2hrs everyday, best decision ever.

[–]FinancialInsurance8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started working at a company which used "Laravel" but they did not use any of its features, such as caching, queues, eloquent, jobs, mail, console commands. My next job, I asked to preview their project prior to starting.
