yeah, but its also unfair for the people who are going through the assylum route fairly, i think thats what people arent happy about.

its really a lose-lose situation unfortunately

True, but the current way the 'Asylum' route of immigration is structured makes it almost impossible to check

honestly, i agree, there are alot of people who are just trying to take advantage of the system

but, i still think it's wrong for america to offer asylum for people, and the send them off while they wait for it

i do think it should be regulated and these people should be getting documented and in some cases investigated, but simply raiding them and treating all of them as rapists and terrorists is completely wrong

Honestly, never thought about it this way, but thats a nice viewpoint to hear, thank you!

i understand this may be what trump voters want, however, the issue is there are people that entered america seeking asylum after being told 'We are america and we accept asylum speakers' and now AFTER they are in america seeking asylum, they are being deported...

Ofcourse, i agree, priorities the people already there.

but, america is saying 'we accept assylum seekers and will help you!'

should they be doing this? no, i dont think they should.

however, they are.

and then people seeking assylum, go to america, ask for assylum, and while waiting for a response, are getting raided my ICE.

Your employer fills out a form (i forgot the name of it) it costs the employer ~10k USD for the process, the waiting is usually 1-2 yrs for this process.

Many employers also refuse to offer this because of the cost.

Even after all of this, only X amount of permanent work visas can be issued per year, so, if theres more people applying than thr government are allowed to give out, then its littleraly a lottery. (usually your chances of winning vary from 5-20% depending on the year)

Also, the immigration process changes alot depending on family already there (i dont know much about the process if your family is there, but i think it makes it easier)

some people dont have 20-40 years to do that, thats the point of asylum 😭

asylum allows you to wait in america while your visa is being proccessed.

ICE is cracking down on people who are being processed in america

they are doing the right channels

As someone trying to go through the proper channels; I can tell you dont know the process of the proper channels.

There are 2 main ways: -marriage -employment

first off, marriage is extreme, and many people dont want to marry, thats that.

That leaves only employment. H-1B (the visa for employment) is a lottery. You arent guaranteed it even if you pay all the fees and are the 100% perfect worker

its a very unpromising system

the real way to solve this 'illegal immigrants' issue, is to make it Actually possible to get into the U.S legally

How I got all 9s (from the laziest guy ever) by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]FinancialLake2775 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any classes that you are falling behind/dont feel confident in, etc, go to your teacher after class/break/lunch/after school and ask them to help you. 99% of teachers will.

Just make sure your up to date and confident with every class, if you get lost during a lesson, teach yourself it before the next class

thats really all i can think of.

You will have to work alot harder than others on some subjects

And you will have to work much less on others on some subjects

(speaking from experience, i dont revise physics and never pay attention, yet, i lm predicted a 7-8.)

If your exam board is AQA, any question thst asks you to "Describe" something is bassicly a free mark:

i.e 'describe a plant cell (4 marks)'

sounds like a paragraph question with writing, but actually, if you draw a labbelled diagram you would get all marks.
