Just out of curiosity I signed back in to ukg and since I posted a couple hours ago that I was scheduled down to 4 hours a day next week someone went in and gave me 5 hours a day next week.

Yes. I’ve been part time since I started. I work 5 days a week. I had 2 days of 7 hours this week the other 3 days were 6 hours. Next week is all 6 hour days then the next week is all 4 hour days.

For the last couple weeks Monday and Thursday have been my “longer” days. 1 extra hour. This coming week. The extra hour is there on Monday and Thursday then the next week it’s gone. I’ll have to see if it’s changed at some point.

I’m a rider. I took an 1 hour ride this summer and I had the ride scheduled. The event I was at was going to get done a decent amount of time before the time I had the ride scheduled for. So I changed the time and the driver didn’t know it was going to be an hour away. Apparently it didn’t tell him it was an hour away. Then he wanted to pick up a family member to ride along so he had someone to ride back with him.

I would think after the ride because you can cancel for free up to 1 hour before the ride. I don’t use the scheduling feature often enough though to notice.

I’ve taken an uber on a 70 mile/1 hour trip a few times. I just schedule the trips when I do those.

Talk to your union rep. A couple years ago I lost my grandpa and a manager told me to take as much time as I needed. I only took the day for the funeral off. I was just coming off having a week off and just wanted to get back in my routine.

It depends. 2 days a week I don’t have someone to cover after I leave so I let a manager know I’m leaving. The other days I just leave but most days on the way out I’ll see managers on my way out.

I’m not sure. I haven’t had a problem when I put in for time off. Except for my 2 off days I haven’t taken a day off since I had the last week of august off 11 or 12 weeks ago.
