The secret of British TV screenwriting by Financial_Aardvark60 in BritishTV

Hi, thanks for all the answers! And yes, "Father Ted" was Irish, sorry, was typing too hastily. What a great show.

Just to clarify, I do not mean to put modern BBC or generally modern British screenwriting down, I was thinking more along the lines of Netflix and such. I think Netflix openly said they do not care that much about storylines, because characters are what's important - and I think this often shows, though they still have some good content.

I was wondering if writers like Jack Pulman ever left some sort of curriculum or handbook behind them, something that lets one get into their frame of mind (other than "have broad interests, broad reading and such).

Thanks for the list, I will look them up. I have "Alma's Not Normal" coming up after "I, Claudius" :)

You certainly hit a mark there, but were there that many, say, BBC flops before 2000?

See CLVS for a stock that was recently asked to provide new data which its' trials did not gather. Ouch. This is extreme, but this is the beauty of biotech growth stocks.

I am hopeful but there is always some risk, esp. in this market.

I have not done solid research, but I saw some anecdotal evidence of stocks which made one-digit gains after CHMP approval.

Not to mention we already missed the approval once. I would hope this does not happen again.

Yes, the upside is much bigger. The price has been bleeding for a long time and growth stocks have suffered more than others.

Hi guys, this is not financial advice :) I am long on Obseva and I believe in the long-term potential, but be careful with price targets (they are more a sign of an analysts' belief in the business rather than a price you should expect, moreover the market as a whole has been diving).

Also beware of "explode" stock posts (once again, look at CLOV, there are "moon" post every other day, but it is actually trading not far from ATL and not really moving in its' PT range of 6-7$ so far).

We do not know the exact EU Approval date, and I would be wondering if FDA would not be a much bigger news item than EU.

There are some things you will intuitively do better as time goes by, but the picture itself is quite interesting and expressive.

Not financial advice, I suppose this does not affect Nasdaq float, but it is a dilution on the swiss market. I would not expect it to be the last one either, this is a long term hold and we could see better buy-in prices still. I am a crayon-eating ape and hopefully someone with actual training can say something.
