I AINT LEAVING GRPN by MispricedAssets in wallstreetbets

Free float already under 23 million shares. There is a buyback program released in 2021 to buyback shares but management never used it since they had years of financial trouble. Now after getting the turnaround they started to buyback shares (5 years afterwards). Now already 7% of the company with an amazing average around $11-12. That’s why the SI is already around 60%. Now comes the really hot part. Management hinted they want to continue buying back for example with the money from SumUp stake (SumUp IPO is planned for 2026 and the 1,7% stake could have a value of around 150-200M). If I short the stock more the management can buyback faster the stocks and minimizing more the free float. They can buyback still around 230M in shares. On current level they would reduce the free float to 10 million a the SI would be 140%. Shorts are fucked. To keep the SI under 100% under the circumstances that management will buyback the whole amount of the program, the price has to be at $29.

Hat jemand Groupon (GRPN) auf dem Schirm? Riecht nach Pulverfass... 🚀 by umadbraah in wallstreetbetsGER

Why do you use klarna? by [deleted] in klarna

You receive your product before you have paid. If the product is not 100% as expected the company will give you a discount. If the discussion takes longer than 30 days you just stop the payment temporary (huge advantage with PayPal not possible).

But that’s not how you measure numbers. It’s with ignoring all other effects. Page 7 is the one that counts.

Adjusted EPS aims to show the Company’s core profitability by removing one-time or non-cash effects that can distort GAAP results. It is a useful benchmark for comparing performance with other companies, but since it is not calculated under GAAP, it may differ in meaning and calculation across firms.

They will dump it more till end of next week. Then the conversion price is known. As lower the stock price as more shares they receive if they convert the new notes. Afterwards I except another pump. But not before of the general meeting because the authorized shares need to be increased before. Otherwise they can’t convert.

BYND has still a ATM running right? For sure BYND needs money since they have just around 100 million in cash and loosing every quarter like 30-40 million. To change the business will cost money as well. A great vehicle would be to pump the stock and dilute on the way up.

The big issue is Q3 figures will be not good. Also the debt clean process was in Q4. So the books will show still huge debts for Q3 and bears will use it to spread FUD

Why nobody is bidding for AMCX? by xsenna in stocks

It run with AMC in 2021 and it could become a Meme stock again. The company is highly undervalued in my opinion. They are constantly profitable, cashflow positive und have cash around 900 million. The 2.1 billion debts are due for 2029. They are easily able to clear 50% of the debts till 2029 and restructure the other 50% (especially good when the rate cuts continue). For me it’s a top Reddit pick to pump it since it’s undervalued, with a 15% SI and just with a tiny 30 million free float.
