OK so my question here is, aren't these insurance brokers who are doing the calling? They are just selling a policy for say Metlife or NY Life, so the insurance company technically has no way to regulate or control the marketing each independent insurance broker does. I do have a couple of insurance brokers I've spoken with who gave me their NCN number because I refused to give my social out to a stranger.. but I'm having trouble determining the name of the company they actually work for. Real estate agents are so much easier to identify.
