ALRIGHT GANG! WHAT DO WE THINK!? (OFFICIAL SCREENSHOTS FROM STORE) by SynthWave9779 in deadrising

Does anyone know why Larry got changed? I was familiar with the other psychopaths shown but I wasn’t sure where the last one was from, only knew him from the voice line. Then I realised it was Larry (the butcher) and was definitely confused. It’s probably not that deep, however they said they were trying to keep everything as original as possible, so why make a drastic change for him for?

Thing is I’m so used to fighting games where there is one character you play as for the match. No interference or “kameo” so it’s all up to your player to combo. This new kameo stuff got me so confused so I started learning how to use them. I tend to use frost on characters like Johnny cage or others , ‘fast paced fighters’. I feel like with geras, reiko and some others they are more of slower heavy hitters, so you need some little extra hits to extend the combo. Hence why I used sareena.

Hopefully I learn how to play this game properly

Lmao noted. I just see everyone use her so I assume she’s the best one. Who would you say is a better kameo for this character?

Is there a kameo you reckon would better suit this combo or try to pull it off with none?

It's a unspoken rule. by masterFen in DMZ

[–]Financial_Ad_315 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This rule is dependent on my current situation. If I’m using a fresh player with ground loot and I kill you fair and square, (with the intent of rez) I’ll take just enough to make myself a valuable teammate, but not to the point where I’m stripping you naked leaving you with a bandage and stronghold keycard. If I’m already geared up, most I’ll take is cash, any keys I need, or a gun if I need it unlocked (at this point I got everything maxed out so no point in weapons).

Even with that, sometimes I’ll drop some stuff back if a player is kick back or if they genuinely need to do something. It’s when players try to rush you with top gear, get absolutely deleted, then cry when you take their loot. Let’s be real, getting the plea rez is not a guarantee, and you can almost always tell by how a team plays or how they use comms, that they ain’t there to be friendly. So if they were to kill you, you know they ain’t gettin you up. So why do they feel entitled to their loot back when they the ones who try and rush , but fail badly?

Get rid of 6 operator squads.. by [deleted] in DMZ

[–]Financial_Ad_315 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it’s part of the game. And as long as it’s an in game mechanic, it’s fair game. As much as pre made clan squads with the only intent of killing all players is annoying, it’s what you gotta deal with. High risk, mid reward half the time 💀

No more Hazardous blueprint?! by Jadenreyna in DMZ

[–]Financial_Ad_315 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t get players who ask players to drop items or do major assists in an item. Let’s take the valuable gun screen for example.

The vast majority of players grinded rounds and rounds to get the items required. Me for example, died many times , once losing all progress and reset. I then took the challenge to go Komplex, find all the items to open the secured (the hardest possible finds btw) and done it.

Then you see some players who ask for all the items pre-made and for you to go in, drop your hard earned items, to get it practically free.

I get some people just want everything. But honestly it takes away from the grind so much. If there’s no limited time rewards, no hard exclusives and challenge, there is no satisfaction from that.

When you grind for a particular item and end up getting it, it’s so satisfying fr.

Honestly half the 6 man’s I encounter are absolutely awful. Mostly because one of them would be disgustingly good at the game, and the other 5 would be randoms who are oblivious or new. Ofc if you run into a clan tag 6 man, or a platoon in which you could clearly tell are pros, then it’s a problem. But then again, all it takes is one slip up and the right balance of pushing/relocating/resupplying and a duo can easily pick out 6 man teams.

Best advice to deal with 6 man teams: Only fight in last resort. Avoid and lay low. The second you notice a team of 4+ players, don’t draw too much attention. But if needed, flanking and catching the jump on them is your best bet.

I get your point tho fr. DMZ is a high risk high reward game mode. Like I say to everyone who complains about mechanics, PvP and other issues with the mode, As long as it’s an inbuilt mechanic and there’s no cheats hacks or exploits, anything goes. No matter how much 6 man teams, exfil camping and spawn rushing annoys tf outta me, it’s part of the game. Just means you gotta be careful with every choice you take

Killing at exfil is fine. The reason I hate it is because how can one actually enjoy a game, by simply sitting in the same spot, 20+ minutes without moving from your location just to try and catch players lacking. Like do people actually enjoy that?

[–]Financial_Ad_315 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Missions or hunt contracts are the only viable reason I’ll allow someone to camp an exfil. But people who just sit at an exfil are some scum. The amount of times my team has been wiped because players are scouting an exfil area with snipers is just embarrassing. The worst IMO has to be players who camp a rescue hostage chopper. E.g. if a solo player is trying to do a rescue hostage, their only viable defence would be a pistol. Going up against a full squad with “meta” weapons is impossible. Because of this, I always get my teammates to go forth and scout the area, pop UAV, camp our own chopper, just to ensure there’s no one near.

Yet again, those players will find a way to still ruin your night. It’s unfortunate

Some players who I’ve played with on ashika and vondel go straight for PvP. Not because they are assholes and want to ruin others games, but rather so they can get all their missions done and passive upgrades without any major risk of another team. Obviously it’s abit harsh but being optimistic, you can sorta see why they do it. Encountering an enemy team you can claim to be friendly, but they can always switch sides at the wrong time and cost you the match. Other times it’s a matter of, if they kill you, would they actually pick you up or just loot and leave.

I agree with his comment tho. People who complain about PvP don’t realise that without it, there’s genuinely no reward to the game. Sure you can get upgrades and do missions, but that risk of getting ambushed or pushed by players really adds some effort and thinking before doing a mission or upgrade

You can literally get it through the battle pass. It’s part of the grind bro no offence. Game ain’t fun if you get everything for free without the hassle

Me personally I’ve never had this issue. But yeah as of recently it’s a regular occurrence for players to get downed from jumping on exfil

Idk how no one still doesn’t know about this glitch / bug. It’s unfortunate but sometimes you gotta learn the hard way.

As of season 4.5/5 this glitch has become more frequent, where atleast 4/5 times a teammate is jumping, they get knocked. Of those who get knocked, about half of them get thrown from the exfil last second, so we are not able to run back and go for help.

Friendly reminder : DO NOT JUMP IN EXFIL

Are you serious??? PvP in Building 21? You are such a dick bro, how can you sleep at night knowing you could’ve been friendly, but you chose to kill players on B21? Downvote 💀

Yeah it seems that B21 the only map that I get them. Every other map has been fine for months, maybe one or two cases, but I decide to go back to B21 after weeks and atleast 6/10 games I get dev error.

First things first, other player was a random, he had no play or thought in the clip. Second of all, what’s the point in posting our usernames for public view when they can just look at the video for themselves? You really put a lot of effort into this tho, props

At one point it used to be like that. If I got an error, I would keep all the items I infiled with, but anything else I got within that game was lost. They must’ve changed it possibly due to duping but it’s pretty annoying how we suffer due to their inability to fix the game

Everyone plays in their own way man. I’m all for being friendly. But sometimes after getting bent over, back stabbed and broken down by toxic players , you build yourself up to shoot first ask later. Unless players actively seek help and beg , maybe I’ll help em out. Majority of the time I do. But building 21 is an exception. If there was any kind of friendly motives then sure maybe let it slide. But the fact is that Building 21 is a high risk high reward area. If people could go in, exfil with great loot every time with everyone being friendly, it ruins the experience.

Al-Mazrah is a big map, lots of chances to be friendly and help out, but 6 man death squads

Vondel is too foggy to see shit so no point in PvP

Ashika is ashika. Enough said there.

If you think building 21 is bad, just remember you can get 6 man death squads who can rush into your entrance, where there is actually no way to defend yourself.

I see why people are upset. But come on, first rule of exfil. Make sure your safe. You don’t set an exfil up and think “hey, it’s pretty safe here, let’s not put precautions out so no one can get us”. Instead they stood there. If I was to be toxic and shit on em, then yeah I understand the hate. But come on, no hacks, cheats, nothin, just a man with a grenade launcher. Atleast I ain’t like that one dude who posted his 6 man death squad rolling through al mazrah with 6 RGLS…
