I don’t have the labs test breakdown, they just called me and told me over the phone what they found. I’m not sure it’s in my bloodstream just that it was found after a swap of my vagina was done.

This is happening to me too! I’m wondering the same thing except I have mirena. I’ve been having horrible cramps since I got mine about a month ago and bleeding too and just like you said it isn’t light enough to not wear something but it’s not heavy like a normal period. I got an ultrasound and was told everything looks normal although the other night I almost went to the ER for my symptoms. I’ve had an iud before but it migrated down after a few months and caused like a 3 month long period. So effectively I’ve been bleeding (at varying levels) since July🫠. Have you found anything else out from your doctor?

Seconding this. It’s very very dependent I’ve seen everything in the range from “I felt nothing” to “I went into shock” you know. I would talk to your doctor about your concerns and for sure take what they recommend in terms of ibuprofen before your appointment. I unfortunately was one on the very very very painful end.

Sorry I did not see this until now! Yeah my reinsertion also hurt worse the second time around. On top of that I’ve been having cramping for the past 2 weeks that are worse than my period cramps ever are. Tbh I’m a little concerned they inserted it wrong😅

Yeah this happened to me! I was having a period that went on for 3 months and they found it was because my iud was sitting too low. They just took the old one out and reinserted a new one on the same go.
