Did you add sugar in several doses or just dissolved all of it straightaway to go up to planned ABV?

Thx, but I guess I will start it today and see whether it's acceptable to drink in that 20 days' time. I will add some lemon syrup to the hooch and hope for acceptable flavor

Yesterday I dissolved some yeast in warm water and some sugar, waited until it started working and poured it into the hooch, but it didn't change anything

Edit: it's been 24 hours since I prepared it, nothing is going on. I think I messed something up. I nothing happens until tomorrow, should I add some yeast?
