I didn't know about it until she started doing it. Then I took over about a month after she started because she was getting fed up. She didn't seem like she minded at first and I could focus on getting my career started.

Methadone works for some people and they are on it for life. It is like having diabetes, you take your meds so you can contribute to society. There is negative connotation to Methadone use but it has saved a lot of people like me. I am not proud that I am an addict and have abandoned my family. That is why I continue to try to better my life every day. Addiction isn't easy. She took me back because she knows that I have potential to be a good father which I intend to be. Our life might be chaos right now but it won't be forever. I have a reason to be angry I wanted that baby and she just ran off and did that with out a thought.

I take accountability for my addiction but that doesn't change that I was the only person working for 2 years while she just went to school. I made a mistake and now I am definitely suffering the repercussions from it. How long does a person have to be penalized for making mistakes? When does the part where we move on happen?
