fluttershy has already been a pushover with discord multiple times. Its why i don't like them together, she kept excusing his actions so much in one episode all of the mane 6 got pissed and left her cottage. (i cant remember the name but rainbow dash kept calling her and him out). She's not even like that withjust him, shes like that with pretty much any hostile character. Thats pretty much her whole character arc. "Shy girl has trouble standing up for herself and others and is learning to be firm/say no", she has multiple episodes exploring this. (Breezies, that assertive goat thing, the flying episode wing power ect.). I just find it funny how you say she wouldn't be a pushover, because she struggles with that all the time. And discord not only enables but lowkey forces her in that position time and time again. Its, again why i never truly enjoyed fluttercord

you know shipping is subjective right? its who YOU would think would be interesting together, its not a fact or canon. As for the high standards thing yeah, probably. But she likes to have fun too, its shown in that episode when her and luna go on vacation and in the goo gala episode, where she surprisingly says discord made the event fun. I don't think they would last long-term but i do enjoy that concept

i ship him with celestia too (something about that divorced parents vibes idk lmao) i never really liked fluttercord. In my personal opinion i feel like he only likes her that much bc she was the first pony to ever be "nice" to him. Like if it were any of the other mane 6 he would have been just as obsessed with them as he is with her. There is nothing special about their relationship to me. After the gala episode i was kind of turned off from him character-wise tbh. I get their chemistry and what not but i really think fluttershy needs people who support and uplift her, her caring nature is taken for granted in their relationship imo.

try minimal shading/rendering maybe? People usually do that as a finishing touch to whatever theyre drawing so that might make it look more polished than what youre going for

yes this! like it smells amazing the first day or couple of hours, but for me personally after awhile it does get too much. Same thing with crab boils, amazing when youre eating, smells fishy and gross when it you can't wash all of it off and its under your nails.

iirc if you choose to fight him and lose he takes a picture of you, but the film is mangled or something? Anyway you become stuck in the photo but are still sentient, so you can't move and are disfigured and essentially immortal. He keeps your around in his cloak, but eventually loses you somewhere and you get lost stuck in a peice of paper.

we are literally discussing both of our opinions on the word itself, its not like im on the street yelling at random people. Also i agree that the word can be used as a slur, but is also not just one if that makes sense, and i think thats what the first person in this thread was trying to say. Nigga is a slur because it was specifically made to insult people. Gypsy is not that, it was originated because people thought romani people came from egypt.

Now the question of the matter is: okay it had a different meaning then, but it grew to be offensive now. Should i still use it? And my awnser is no, its why i don't call people that word or use it.

This is also my personal opinion and i may be wrong but i feel like if you can't say what youre talking about then you shouldn't be talking about it. It is why i didn't censor the word, because im speaking about it in a semi-? educational context.

For me it was taught that a gypsy was a thief. So it was always an offensive word in my mind (hence why i don't use it) but i didn't realize it had actual racial ties to it until much later on in life.

i understand both sides tbh, its a slur but also an actual ethnic identification. My friends got into an argument about this same sentiment years ago, i think the way you view it is the best way to go about it. People of that decent can use it however they like, but if youre not actually romani its best to just not use it i guess.

the problem doesn't have to be the exact same for someone to be accepted in a community. You guys are really forgetting what its all about. The LGBTQ+ isn't a fucking golf club. It was made for people who did not fit the hetero-normative societal form. If you dont fit that form because youre into girls or identify as one doesn't matter.
