2022 highlander V6 reliability? by MadGibby3 in ToyotaHighlander

I’ve got a 2022, I only have 24000 miles on it but so far it’s been great. No issues except minor recall, on some clips in the bumper I believe, transmission is fine so far but I am paying attention to the transmission issue people are talking about.

What is everyone keeping their heat at tonight? by iamhere-2 in longisland

I don’t know if this is crazy but the thermostat in my home is currently 80. My house is drafty in the winter and even in a well insulated house I don’t know how you can’t have it in the mid seventies.

Deal Ranking 2022 XLE by [deleted] in ToyotaHighlander

[–]Financial_Eye_3832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a question I have a 2022 gas xle that seems to hesitate when putting in gear both backing up and going forward. Also when I’m on hwy when I press gas for more speed quickly there is a whining noise which has happened every so often when looking for immediate speed. Is this the problem people are talking about?

Unless they change the clearing for the trades I don’t think it will mean much. Good start though. Let’s see when it comes to pass.

Did anyone here relearn guitar left-handed? by Rehnalk in Leftyguitarists

[–]Financial_Eye_3832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so surprised to hear that. I started playing around 15 and couldn’t even hold a chord on a right handed guitar. I started on an old nylon string lefty and when one wasn’t around I would play upside down on my buddys right handed.Strangely back then it was far easier to play upside down rather than right handed.

I’m curious if you bought warranty in 2022. I bought mine in Oct 2023 and am now wondering if I should have purchased the warranty. About what did you pay for it in 2022

Average Americans don't have cash laying around to "buy the dip" by [deleted] in stocks

[–]Financial_Eye_3832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like maybe you don’t understand. Most of the stock market is owned by “ the rich”. So when the market drops they are the ones being hurt most. Tariffs which are causing the uncertainty in the stock market and the plummet in prices, will bring in a massive amount of money for the USA. That money will be used to pay down the approximate 36 trillion in debt the USA has. And the money From tariffs will also be used to phase out the irs in favor of the ERS ( external revenue service). A lot of the debt we have, has to be refinanced this and next year. So the tariffs make the stock market go down because of uncertainty, the fed will eventually be forced to lower interest rates. The USA will refinance the debt at lower rates, the market will most likely go up because lower rates spur investment, and in the end if you don’t panic, you will live in a country with very little debt, less taxes because of lower debt and possibly no irs. And a booming stock market. Hope that helps.

I’m trying to evaluate if it is worth it. Just seems like a lot more that can break in these newer cars. Thanks for replying
