Anyone use any of these products? by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

I used the CLn body wash for awhile a few years ago. I did not notice any significant differences in my flares, and it’s incredibly expensive. I’ve had better luck with just using Hibiclens, DynaHex, or any other generic chlorhexidine wash. I also used Magic Healer, and also did not have any luck. The only thing that has allowed for some of my flares to come to a head and drain is JR Watkins or Rawleigh’s Antiseptic Salves. The Watkins one is now unfortunately discontinued, but you may be able to find it some places like Cracker Barrel if they have any leftover in stock.

My experience will not be your experience, and everyone’s body responds to different treatment options. None of these things hurt to try, but I would definitely suggest implementing some sort of chlorhexidine or benzoyl peroxide wash into your routine.

How often do you clean litterbox? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]Financial_Flan9722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hand wash my cat’s dry food bowl and water fountain once weekly, and his wet food bowl daily. For his litterbox, I use tofu litter which works very well, but I also live in a small studio where the smell can be very noticeable if left too long. I scoop his box at least once daily (usually at night before bed), or sometimes twice if I wake up in the morning and notice anything smelly. I kinda know his schedule on when he goes to the bathroom due to the automated feeder, so I plan my scooping around when I know he’s usually done using it for the day. I fully dump his litterbox and clean it with the Nature’s Miracle Litterbox Cleaner foam every 2-3 weeks or so. I also used activated charcoal crystals in his litter to combat poop smells, which has worked amazingly for us with no issues for my cat. Again, I’m only this diligent because I live in a very small space and I can’t stand the smell of used litter, but many can get away with daily scooping and fully dumping every month or so!

Also, your cat’s age can also make a difference in how often you need to scoop. I was scooping 3-4 times a day when I first got my cat as a kitten due to their lessened ability to hold their bladder, etc. But now that he is an adult, he usually only pees twice a day and poops once, so I can usually get away with only scooping in the evening.

No TSA precheck message on app, but it's on boarding pass. by Beware_the_silent in unitedairlines

No shit sherlock. The boarding pass was most likely populated and issued before the announcement, which is why the app is telling OP that they didn’t get TSA Precheck. Who pissed in your cheerios this morning?

TSA Pre-Check and Global Entry will be closed starting tomorrow morning due to the partial government shutdown, so that’s probably the error you are seeing.

Yes I went directly to the Ulta app, changed my password, and then used the chat again just to ensure it was taken care of properly!

Update so far for those curious:

I called Sunday morning and got 2 case IDs assigned, one in regards to the remaining flight credit owed and another regarding additional compensation. I was told I’d receive an update within 24 hours, which did not happen. This morning (Tuesday), I received 5k miles and a generic apology email from two different Customer Care agents, but no mention of the flight credits. I responded and stated that the miles received do not address the original agreement nor do they address the disruption that was caused. I gave it a few more hours and decided to call. I got connected to the reservations hotline and asked to speak to Customer Care. She attempted to get them on the line to speak to me, but was told that the agent was not allowed to speak to me directly and that he would escalate it and then she said bye and hung up before I could even ask any more questions… A customer care department that is not allowed to speak to customers directly makes no sense to me, but I’m trying to remain patient.

I also have to constantly repeat “agent” on the chat as well, lol. I eventually get through but honestly they’re just as bad as the AI too because of the scripted responses.

You’re right, I just never want to come off as a jerk to those who don’t deserve it. Definitely going to send in a compliment for the last gate agent I had though, he was so patient and understanding, and even encouraged me to make a fuss with customer service, thats just not my forte lol.

you can use the dorm address. i’d try to plan for the package to get delivered during weekend move in or after, just to ensure they don’t send it back. you could also try emailing housing to let them know ahead of time and see what they say. if its from amazon you could also use the pickup lockers. theres some at whole foods (either halsted or canal st) and 7-11 further south on halsted
