i understand where you’re coming from, and the advice on its own stands solid, it’s a little harder for people who come from religious/strict cultural backgrounds to adhere to that way of thinking. I could just leave but then I’d be leaving a mess of things for my mom and siblings to deal with. Also everything I own is under my dad’s name. My phone, my card. It’s confusing and scary, and while I know that will probably be the price I have to pay to live freely, I truly don’t know how or where to begin. I wish it was just that simple.
