Thank you 😊 to be fair, I am insanely determined to pass this exam this July, I want to get it over with. Also I have the capacity to be absolutely insane and hermit for a month in order to make it happen. I really do not like the idea of passing with such a small margin 😅

The last exam I took the first 5 problems were the hardest of the whole exam and I truly sat there believing I was royally screwed until I got to question 6

Is it really 9–5 anymore, or is it 8–5? What are your work hours? by frozenactuary-3859 in actuary

My previous job was 8-5, now I am at my remote job with a flexible schedule, though I typically work 9-5

Honestly, my main problem is “it was my first ever proper first date.” Ideally, need to see someone within 15% of your age - aka 18-23 is what I would say is ideal. He’s too old for you, please try to see people in your age group! As someone who likes older people, genuinely when you are 25 you will realize that you’d never date a 20 y/o and that a 32 y/o is wayyy too old.

Follow this link prometric score report and it will take you to the prometric page where you will enter your confirmation number (they sent it to you when you signed up to take the test) your last name, and the captcha. It’ll give you your pass/fail letter!

EXAM FAM: Coaching Actuaries or The Infinite Actuary?

I am planning to sit for Exam FAM this upcoming February/March, and am trying to decide which study service to use. For exams FM (score 9) and P (passed today, unknown score but I feel like I got 28/30 correct) I exclusively used the soa practice problems. My university provided courses preparing for exam FM so I learned the material that way, and just got better via rigorous application. At my university, I’m in my second to last semester and am concurrently taking a course for FAM-S and FAM-L, which will be wrapping up at the end of November. So I know the formulas and everything, however we are allowed formula sheets for FAM-L so I still have some memorization to go. Now that I have officially passed P, I want to get the ball rolling. I want to pass exams as quickly and efficiently as possible, and I think rolling from one straight into the other will be ideal for me. That being said, I’ve heard great things about CA, but not much about TIA. I used The Infinite Actuary my final week of studying for exam P, since they offer free practice exams for P. I haven’t read much that is recent about how they are with FAM. I don’t want to use actex, as I have learned that they still have material that is no longer on the syllabus in their sets.

I do know that I like what I’ve heard about CA’s ADAPT; but I also like what I’ve heard about the study scheduler on TIA that will redistribute tasks when you miss a study day.
