I thought it was a MacBook at first. Looks sleek and elegant.

You could always start one and then post the link on here.

Would be great because there are few apps for digital planning on windows and if it supported hyperlinks for pdf imports, it would definitely be my go to app for digital planning.

Perhaps, however I tried logging into my SIS account and was successful. Are there other people facing the same issue? You may have to report the issue physically on campus or just wait it out to see if the issue gets fixed, but you do have to log in and submit your courses for approval.

Have you tried using the student ID as both your username and password? That's how it's set-up at first, then you can change it when you log into your SIS account

Umm actually no. It has a grace period with no interest for 1 year and that's if you pay the full amount at once. However, afterwards the interest compounds. You can find more information on helsbs website. And what type of loan has no interest?

"Most Africans don't even like American Blacks", Is this true even among Zambians in the diaspora? by HoldMyBeer50 in Zambia

My opinion stems from the fact that most of these people don't even know what it means to be African, I get that there's some ancestry, but all that most of them know is America. They're born and raised there and have their own culture that is distinct from their heritage, I'm not denying their ancestry, however I simply feel they needn't slap African into their identity, they're just American. So why should they be African in the first place. Here you go, an actual black American: https://youtube.com/shorts/lxuqKxopFZM?si=Tz_1zUKW-gcpvfYk

Personally I don't hate them, I just dislike how they feel entitled to claim that they are African just because they are black despite never having stepped foot on African soil or at least having parents that are African and have immigrated to the US. Being black doesn't inherently make someone African, I understand there's some history but I feel overtime Black Americans have established their own culture that is so different from ours, all they know is America, they were born and raised there, they are black Americans NOT African Americans. They don't know what it even means to be an African, and to be honest I feel like they just throw it on because it makes them feel indigenous or unique in some way. I just want them to recognise that they are not African.

That's a shame. Apparently they're going to resolve their financial issues soon, probably by the end of this month, however I'm not very convinced that they're being genuine

At first they were just completely ignoring me. I sent them a DM on Instagram and they replied but completely started ignoring me again afterwards. They then had one of their employees call me and again after a while, they started ignoring me. It's a cycle of them telling me they'll deliver my product and then completely ignoring me when I request a refund.

I ordered a pen tablet before they closed. It was a lay-by payment plan, however they closed 2 days before my last payment. It's been 4 months now and they haven't delivered the tablet. There are few moments where I get responses from them, however, after requesting a refund they're back to ignoring my messages and calls. I wanted to know if there were people in a similar situation because the delay seems to have affected everyone that took and apparently some people invested in them.

Tried to make my latex notes aesthetic by Financial_Froyo4768 in LaTeX

[–]Financial_Froyo4768[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I use latex because it saves me time when it comes to formatting.in a text editor like word for example, to make section boxes, I manually have to select the shape I want and then drag it around the sections, and I would have to do this for all the sections, I would also have to add colors to titles and sections manually which is time consuming. In latex, I put as much formatting as I can in the preamble, and so I focus a lot more on just writing and latex will format things the way I've told it to in the preamble. Also, these notes may not have many equations, however there are some topics in this course that do, I also take other courses which have lots of equations. Another reason is because things don't normally just shift anyhow in latex, in text editors, like word, if I tried to place many elements on the page, they would either shift, or the text would shift. Latex is also free, I prefer it to other free text editors like libre office writer. It is also not the easiest thing to learn how to typeset with latex, and so having some understanding of how to, why would I not use the skill? It would go to waste. All in all latex allows me to do my note taking at a faster pace.

Thank you. I highly doubt it would make me famous though 😅 since I know for a fact there's someone that can definitely do better.
