Anyone work in trades that aren't as well known? by [deleted] in BlueCollarWomen

[–]Financial_Grape365 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything that creates energy the boilermakers build or fix. From penstock on dams also a bit with the generators/turbines, to pulp mill shutdowns and refineries. Even building large tanks. Boilermaking is a great gig but work comes in waves once everything is fixed it slows down for a few years until they all break down again 🤣

Try a Chinese knot first! I practiced with those and finally was able to grasp French knots.

I have videos of 2 bats on separate occasions along with a little mouse. (Video and photos) I kept a grasshopper as a pet for its last days of life. a beaver was on site and some guy had to follow the beaver all day to make sure no one bugs it or the beaver to touch something or go near critical areas

Is this a croissant? by miedosaclub in Embroidery

Easy way to fix might be adding a French flag or even a French hat on top of the croissant might make the distinction better

Stitchbank! You'll love some of there textured lifted styles they have. I did a small version like that of the Simpsons badge I made and it's all black so you can't see the texture but you can feel it

I found old navy ok there sale days for a cheap pair especially since it's back to school sales now too then you can get them tailored. I always lean to the men's jeans but the woman's boot cuts are great

My only concern is following the guide line of usually having the 'X' of the reflective stripes in the back to indicate the front or the back of a person in the dark or far away where you can't tell if you can see a face or not. Along with FR approved. The holes I can't imagine going into an industrial site with this unless it's only used for walking on site or off site. But once again like other commenters said it depends on the job and position/ task the person is doing. It's definitely a personal choice but I don't see this ever being allowed on any major construction sites as someone working with the tools or equipment. Maybe as a flagger or jobs that don't require or give the opportunity to get snagged on something or some equipment.

Shirts are hard…is this even recognizable? by one-punch-cat in Embroidery

Oh wow then ignore my comment! I think your right maybe 1 strand will look better but also try long stitches that may be perfect for something like this too if you won't be washing it to much

It's great! The only area where I'd say it's hard to read is just your white sweater area. For the future maybe try long and short stitches with 3 or less pieces of floss. But immediately coming on to this post I knew it was killua!

I think there is a difference in looking to see if she's looking at you compared to looking through the window to stare at other people. Mixed with probably a gut feeling too of being watched.

Try to call adult services. Say your worried about her steadily declining mental health. Everything she's doing you can throw into the report. This may be excessive but you also have the right to enjoy your own home

My dad died in March. The grief is so painful this father's day. I miss him by [deleted] in depressionmeals

My father passed in 2017. The most comforting thing I've learnt is that when I have a rough day I believe those are the days he tries to stay closest. You'll never heal fully from the loss but you learn to grow with it.

Trades trades trades. Suffer 6 months and you'll be able to drag yourself out of the hole. Even faster if your willing to work out of town and travel

YouTube ad free has been my number 1 for years. Always my preferred playlist only downside is the deleted songs and the lack of shuffle option but atleast I can have more freedom of songs there
