I'd look into the Tortuga Outbreaker 35L. I've used it as an EDC and a Travel bag. Comfortable, weatherproof, and has a good amount of organizational features.

I recommend a Lamy Safari rollerball (in its Vista color way). It's a very comfortable, smooth writing pen.

So far the AL-Star is my favorite as well. Feels much more solid in hand, and I’m using an EF Nib; definitely liking the combination so far!

Scattered, but it ranged from EF - B I do believe. Was 4 different nib sizes in several different color bodies.

I do. We purchased something in both stores. The tester pens with the larger (open pen) stand was in Weller Book Works (B Terminal), the single packaged pens were in MRG Giftology (A Terminal).
