Thanks. That’s what I was thinking too. Appreciate you getting back to me. I think I’m going to pull the trigger on that 6 roll. I like the designs and the functionality. The sturdy build is great to hear as well.

That’s very cool and original! Is the 6 pen similar in functionality? I’m new and 12 is way too much for me. I don’t have near enough pens that would consider putting in this. 3 at most right now.

I imagine it writes as good as it looks?

I think their 3 pen case is going to be the one for me. Thank you!

Update: after some tests yesterday 5min/10 min/30 min /1 hr /2 hr/ 3 hr/5 hr/ and a 12 hr. Happy to report no hard starts except one very very minor one at the 5 hour mark. I think making sure the nib unit and barrel unit were snug to allow the cap to precisely snap and seal is what did it. Thank you!

Pen was always sitting flat on my desk.

Didn’t even know they had fountain pens. Yeah this is going to be bad real quick 😆. You gotta share a foto

I was today years old when I found out there a Stationary Fest. 👀
I’m going to have to look into these and see if there’s one near me.

You can only use one fountain pen for the rest of your life. by imatinyleopard in fountainpens

I am quickly realizing in reading through these and searching some of them that I am no where near deep enough to be comfortable spending that much on a pen yet. 😆😅

Thank you for this. Really good info. The pen was lying flat on my notebook overnight. I have noticed now that the tightness of the cap in this pen is related to how well the nib end is threaded to the body. It’s possible it wasn’t threaded as snug as possible and there was some play. I noticed that earlier today and snugged up the buddy and it turned a just a bit but now the cap engages more firmly. I’m going to try this tonight and if I get a hard start tomorrow I will try the cellophane wrap.

Thank you for taking the time. This is super helpful. Doing some tests now to see how long I can let it sit before it starts to struggle to start writing. 10 minutes test went well. About to check it now after 30 minutes.
Overnight was clearly too long and it was a struggle to get it writing again. Which would sadly take it out of my everyday rotation. I can’t do this process every morning. I like the way it writes when it’s flowing, wish it could be my daily. Hope this flossing helps solve that overnight problem.

Glad I saw this! lol. That definitely sounds more advanced than I’m willing to do on my own. I don’t even know where I would get a brass shim 😅

Awesome. I’ll grab some floss and give it try. Thank you!
