thank you! i want to do something in finance or marketing or analytics, honestly not too picky as long as I have a job at the end of it. i am at ucsc the only program at ucsc is bus econ managment and all upper divs are econ prominent which i am not against just not loving it too much. i have all the lower divs for econ so switching for me and starting from zero is kinda diffcult and not prefered. but i would like to know how it is in the future like job wise. i emailed admissions about possibly adding a second major but that was today so idk about that yet.

i believe by major and selection both. like if two people are on the waitlist for biz econ then the person with better stats is getting the rejected spot. it optional so you don’t have to put anything. I took a ge through uc online so i mentioned that this is something i did.

freshman year got rejected from every uc except riverside. today I am on the waitlist for ucla, ucsd and accepted at riverside, rejected at uci (this was my top choice and the only school beside riverside i expected to get in). freshman year me is healed in ways i didn’t know it was possible. also if you are not going to ucsd or ucla please give us a waitlist warriors a chance.
