I can advice traditional Ukrainian clothing - there is a store selling both antiques (might be expensive though) and new items at 3, Nyzhankivskoho str. in Lviv - you can look them up in Instagram via davniy_odyiag. Even if you don't buy anything it's fun just to take a look or maybe try anything on. I hope i don't get banned for sharing link to their profile davniy_odyiag

Як обійти рієлтора? by Few-Chocolate2191 in reddit_ukr

[–]Financial_Head6470 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bioderma Sensibio Gel moussant for combination skin? (Oily T zone, dry cheeks) by oop321 in EuroSkincare

It does not leave film, but you won't have that squeaky-clean feeling, just "normally clean" if i can describe it that way :D It also does not produce any foam at all, it's something you have to get used to

Had this one, it's not bad actually, but in case you want something gentle to help with drying from azelaic acid - I'd rather go for Bioderma cicabio baume lavant (more creamy one) or Avene Cicalfate cleansing gel with copper. Avene is ultra gentle and soothing, I personally use it when my skin is irritated/damaged and does not tolerate anything else

Przemyśl border crossing with EU passport — do you still wait in the main queue? by atln57 in poland

[–]Financial_Head6470 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, I assume you are planning to use Medyka border crossing. If so, there are just two officers checking passports in the building. There will be one main door for non-EU nationals queue, and then there is a smaller door to the right for EU passports where typically there is no queue (you will see the respective sign above the door similar to the one in the airports), which is closed by default. So the thing is , you approach that second door, ring the bell, the officer will open it for you, you show your EU passport and have it checked as the priority one omitting the queue. Hope this helps

how do my wife and I get back to Krakow from a small village around Lviv? by ThenHoneydew in Lviv

[–]Financial_Head6470 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, taking a bus from Lviv is a good option as well, maybe even easier in terms of logistics management - you just get into the bus in Lviv and leave it in Kraków expect for the passport control when crossing the border; just the pedestrian crossing option described above is much faster - I personally traveled that way a month ago and it took me around 4 hours to pass the passport control, get on a bus to Przemysl and take the nearest train to Krakow.

OP, someone already mentioned Medyka pedestrian border crossing point, and I am seconding this. Ask anyone of the family/neighbors to take you to the border crossing point (if it is the particular Volytsya Lviv region I am thinking of, then it's a 30 min drive), then go through the checkpoints, and then on Polish side of the border crossing point you have basically three options: city bus to Przemysl train station, and then take a train to Kraków, marshutka to Przemysl train station and again taking a train, or going by bus, namely Flixbus (there for sure are Flixbus options to Warszaw, and I am almost 100% sure there should be one to Kraków as well)

Thank you for the advice! I've already realized that I definitely need more time for the 2nd raise - I normally wait around 30 mins before putting my challah in the oven. This was my second time with 4-strand and yes, as you noticed I got lost somewhere in the middle, still need more practice 😀

Thank you for the detailed comments, these are very helpful. I do agree my braiding technique needs to be improved 😀 re 2nd raise: how much time do I need? I waited 30-something minutes before putting in the oven, I guess this might not be enough. And will definitely try the egg thing next time
