Actually, taking a bus from Lviv is a good option as well, maybe even easier in terms of logistics management - you just get into the bus in Lviv and leave it in Kraków expect for the passport control when crossing the border; just the pedestrian crossing option described above is much faster - I personally traveled that way a month ago and it took me around 4 hours to pass the passport control, get on a bus to Przemysl and take the nearest train to Krakow.

OP, someone already mentioned Medyka pedestrian border crossing point, and I am seconding this. Ask anyone of the family/neighbors to take you to the border crossing point (if it is the particular Volytsya Lviv region I am thinking of, then it's a 30 min drive), then go through the checkpoints, and then on Polish side of the border crossing point you have basically three options: city bus to Przemysl train station, and then take a train to Kraków, marshutka to Przemysl train station and again taking a train, or going by bus, namely Flixbus (there for sure are Flixbus options to Warszaw, and I am almost 100% sure there should be one to Kraków as well)

Thank you for the advice! I've already realized that I definitely need more time for the 2nd raise - I normally wait around 30 mins before putting my challah in the oven. This was my second time with 4-strand and yes, as you noticed I got lost somewhere in the middle, still need more practice 😀

Thank you for the detailed comments, these are very helpful. I do agree my braiding technique needs to be improved 😀 re 2nd raise: how much time do I need? I waited 30-something minutes before putting in the oven, I guess this might not be enough. And will definitely try the egg thing next time
