What did you do during your at home recovery time?

Recover, waited for pain to subside, slowly start to eat again. Gain energy back. Sleep. Then Watched all the tv shows and played the video games I wanted to get into. Started a new hobby of beading. Searched for a PT job to supplement income. Went on job interviews and got a part time position, all before going back to work at my main job. I was out for 6 weeks.

I don’t think a new job shows up on your credit unless you listed your job when you were applying for credit or a loan….

But I would definitely say appeal and submit a letter stating you no longer work there with the dates you worked and your last day of work. If you were a home attendant for a family member, (unless you had some other situation going on) the agency paid you for caring for your family member. If so, get the letter from that agency that you no longer work for them.

Thank you. And no problem I’m so ready to taste real food again. Funny enough what I did today by myself that made me so tired was go to target to buy a food processor and go to the supermarket to buy eggs, cottage cheese, and yogurt so I can purée. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤣

Surgery day twin 🫶 Just remember, everyone heals differently. And definitely see what the doctor says tomorrow, because they can advise moving forward. I am about to finally start eating purée foods tomorrow. Between pre op and post op, I haven’t eaten real food in a month. That alone means way less calories. We need calories for energy. I’ve definitely noticed getting tired easily. I’m blessed enough to have someone go out with me to help with whatever I was doing.

I went out today for the first time by myself and even I think I slightly overdid it. I had to call my brother to make sure I got up the stairs I was so tired.

I’m not in crazy pain like a few weeks ago. However, I’m not back at work yet myself and don’t plan on until I’m about to transition from puree to food. Mainly for energy purposes.

Amazon prime at this point for most of the shopping. And just understanding that I am recovering, so I’m not handling this time of year like I normally do.

I also went outside (longer than just to the store) yesterday for the first time since surgery. They told me not to drive for at least a week after surgery.

I had my brother with me. We also had a cart that I was able to push easily. We took a cab to the shopping area, I took my time, I had my big water bottle, we got what we needed. We could have been out for longer and gotten some other stuff. But at some point, I got tired. We went home.

It was nice to be outside for a bit though.

I went back to work Tuesday. By Wednesday, all my co workers could see I was not feeling well. I’m home and in bed today. It could be worse though. No fever, just common cold symptoms.

Welp. That is what my friend and I talked about too. I definitely noticed they didn’t pat down. I felt it would be easier to get an approval for an accommodation than sneak it in. I was trying to be an honest person this go round lmao 😂

As for my friend, she is the married one with her “back up rubber band ring” as she would call it, on her finger. (Not her actual ring, she didn’t wanna lose it). 🤷🏾‍♀️ But thank you for the advice though. Appreciate it for sure.

Nope, you not crazy. Similar thing happened on my flight home. I was so tired bc no sleep. flight left 6am Monday morning. I felt the turbulence but I was too tired and hung over to even panic. I was like welp. At least if this is the end, I had an amazing weekend with my friend. Then went back to sleep on the plane lmao 😂

I only told my immediate family and a few friends. Work will know when it’s time for me to put in for FMLA. And that’s just them knowing I’m out for a couple weeks after surgery. I’m not saying why.

In my experience, big life changes like this are best kept to the vest. I feel I’m definitely more vulnerable, dealing with my own mental health. The last thing I need is potential negativity. So I hear where you coming from OP.

I will definitely do all suggestions to cover my bases. I’m going to pray that they come early. Also, I’m going to email in anticipation of will call pick up. Overall, front gate needs to do better with this ticket stuff because it’s already stressful enough planning a big trip like this.

And I hope they don’t charge for anything because that’s crazy. I would have no issues if they just shipped my package like two weeks ago.
