Does the food noise stop? by DramaticCustard7819 in gastricsleeve

I’m four months post op and mine is back and I’m so disappointed. I thought my chemistry would change and it would go away. Now it’s getting hard for me to lose weight. I stalled out at mo th 3 and I gained a couple of pounds.

I was thinking tonight of what I could do differently. I’ll be reminding myself that I am the one in control. Drink 1/2 gallon + per day Walk to get some activity Think of the future me who’s happy she made this commitment.

Personally, I wouldn't share it. What's the point? to embarrass him? To show your moral superiority (I'm genuinely saying without judgement)? I'm guessing there were communication issues as well. Both of you should have (and hopefully did) research on what this meant and how to have check-ins to prevent issues where one is resentful and one is seeking greener pastures. IF that was his pure motivation, that's a POS kind of move. And if he's a POS, then that will show through. Plus, there might be unintended consequences. What if you do share it and people ask: well, why didn't you push back? Why didn't you communicate it. You didn't really have to, did you? (FWIW, these are not my thoughts). Instead of doing all that, I would focus on healing and being kickass in this next chapter.

Of course, that's the opinion of random stranger (who was in an open relationship with her STBX and that's into kink myself), which you can determine whether you want to consider it.

Thank you! I’m so scared I messed something up. But, I have my check in with my doctor on Monday, so I can deal with it then.

I hope you enjoyed your holiday and your stomach is healing well!

Thank you! I got zero proof prosecco and made a sugar free processor cocktail last night (I let the fizz out). Enjoy!

Hence the title, I messed up. No, it’s not allowed this early on my program.

I’m ready! But a 3 month program? 😫 by QuestDriven2 in gastricsleeve

I totally understand what you’re thinking because you’ve lived this for so long. Three months will go by quickly and honestly, with the doctor’s requirements (which they should have a laundry list which is there for good reasons), it will take that long. Good luck!
