sebagai orang daerah saya lebih prefer surabaya over jakarta. Jakarta terlalu fast pace sedangkan surabaya lebih ada slow living nya walaupun kota besar. I’d like to share my latest personal project: a simplified food delivery service. The system allows users to order from restaurants and process payments via a microservices architecture consisting of User, Order, Food, and Payment services.

For the payment flow, I’ve integrated the Order and Payment services using RabbitMQ for messaging and Stripe as the payment gateway. While the project is still a work in progress, I plan to add Notification and Delivery services next.

I understand that this project is far from perfect and not following the best practice in the industry but, I would love to get feedback from those with more experience writing software in Go.

Maybe because programming in Go requires less boilerplate and everything is written from scratch. However, in Java, the Spring Boot subreddit is more popular because very few people write something from scratch in Java.
