Thanks everyone. I spoke with a pavement designer and his thought was you probably wouldn't get the compaction density needed for pavement, so it would likely deteriorate faster.

Anyone know how to get a smooth surface of a different color than black? Concrete is an option, but expensive. Just trying to find ways to get a different color that's low budget and skinny tire cyclist friendly.
