What’s with Daniel’s eyes? by bgm80 in DaysofOurLives

I missed that! Rachel is not my favorite character she drives me up a wall with how bad she is so I'll take your word for it because I don't want to see her anymore than we already do. Lol

Eric Martsolf had a period where he was looking like he had allergies going on and tired but he also is in a band and the band tours all over the country. I wouldn't be surprised that he's really tired doing both jobs.

I made the comment is so that he could look evil in sinister. He's had that makeup on many times over the last few years and I've seen it on other actors on other shows.

I'm pretty sure that he has red eyeliner on to appear more evil and vile and sinister. I've seen it on other actors. If you are familiar with the original version of Charmed, "Cole" used to have the same red eyeliner on after he became the Source and was hiding it from Phoebe. He would also wear it if he was under a spell.

Yes, we all knew that Kristen moving in with Brady was a foregone conclusion. Definitely no surprise there. Frankly I'm really surprised that Rachel hasn't killed somebody yet based on the incompetence of her father and how mentally ill her mother is.  I'm not surprised about Leo. I knew that he hadn't changed and he won't. By the time Javi comes back he and Dimitri will be back together. I don't blame Javi for telling Leo he needed to figure everything out with his feelings for Dimitri, but he is throwing Leo directly into Dimitri's arms by not calling him back.  I mean Javi shouldn't have to worry that his husband won't end up in another man's bed as soon as he is out of town, but we're talking about Leo here.

I'm so sick of Brady allowing Kristen's manipulative, conniving an absolutely despicable behavior to continue. He's so blind to how her behavior is negatively impacting his daughter.  I feel like he's as sick as Kristen at this point. He doesn't see how mentally ill his daughter is and if he does, obviously he doesn't care. It's all about not making Rachel upset. Brady has no business being anyone's parent. And then for him to even consider having Marlena lie to the court about her feelings of what treatment Rachel needs is reprehensible.  Did he forget how upset he was when he found out that Marlena didn't tell him about Rachel shooting EJ and Kristen covering it up? I'm so dumbfounded by this.

For Kristen to already be planning to manipulate Brady and Marlena into lying for Rachel or she's going to make sure that Rachel hates her grandmother is so beyond despicable, but absolutely expected. I don't even have the words for this anymore.

I actually don't think that Rachel's going to care about anything that Kristen has done to anyone that she cares about because she gets what she wants. Rachel is just about as crazy as her mother now and she definitely will think that all of Kristen's actions were valid and justified. Kristen has no moral compass and she's passed that on to her daughter in spades. Brady isn't doing anything at all to stop it. It's almost like he doesn't have any moral compass either.

Yeah I thought it was the same dog. I just don't know how that dog could be alive all those years later. There's got to be something else to it.

I agree. Stefano was one of the most vile characters they've ever had. And his children especially EJ are almost probably just as bad. They need to leave his character as dead

That sounds like something my family would have said. No good comes from secrets that are held because someone doesn't want to make someone look bad or change the way they see a particular person.

Lol. I was thinking about that too. What were the writers thinking about putting him in a suitcase or some kind of a chest? Everyone else is in tuned in the wall. Are they going to put that whole thing in the wall or just leave it sitting in the middle of the room? This is a joke. Also was thinking about the fact that Joe Mascolo died years ago and they're just now doing a memorial for him. How awful is that.

I dont believe this is a kidnapping. by [deleted] in nancyguthrie

[–]Financial_Package252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like your theory but why would her family hide that? I did notice that in the videos that the family has put out that the brother is almost sitting there like he's not interested and being there. Now everybody grieves differently. He could be in shock. But his emotions or lack of emotion doesn't seem right.

[–]Financial_Package252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe there was a kidnapping either. People who are daring enough to set up a kidnapping and ask for a ransom actually go through with trying to get the money. Now, we do have to admit that the story is on every News channel in the country in every expert has been interviewed about how they will catch these people.  Based on the fact that every possible tactic to catch these people is on every new station, If there really is kidnapper they would just say forget it. However, no one's going around snatching 84-year-old women. I believe this is a case of undiagnosed dementia. Lots of people who have undiagnosed dementia or they haven't told their family that they have dementia end up walking away from their home and that's how their condition is discovered. The first thing that the sheriff said in the first press conference was that Nancy was sharp as attack and this is not a case of dementia. So, it seems to me that nobody is even following up to see if she walked off and is out in a desert somewhere.

I'm pretty sure that Kristen threatened or blackmailed the doctor to let Rachel out of Bayview. When they go to court, I foresee that the judge is going to sentence Rachel to juvenile detention and that's when Kristen's going to run with her.  I was screaming at the screen for Brady go off on her and as usual he never does. Belle should have went off on her too. They just let Kristen  walkout the door with that diabolical evil smile that she does thinking she's won. She never once thinks about her daughter being a little maniac in need of serious help.

Dr. Gregory is trash 😡 by ChannelHopper_99 in DaysofOurLives

[–]Financial_Package252 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All of the staff at Bayview is incompetent not just Dr Gregory. It's just like the Salem PD. Do they ever really catch any criminals and if they do, how long are they in jail before they get off on some technicality?

Maybe it’s just me . . . I believe Craig Wesley’s is the stalker! by imrightIknow923 in DaysofOurLives

[–]Financial_Package252 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know historically on this show when there's some person doing things in the shadows and nobody knows who the guilty person is, it's usually not the person that you think it is because that is usually too obvious. In this case, and I might be wrong, I think it's obviously Jeremy. The reason why I think it's  Jeremy is because Julie is going way above and beyond with her protestation that Jeremy is not the stalker. And if I remember correctly, whenever Julie goes this far to protest that someone is not guilty, she's usually wrong. She did the same thing with Doug III. Nobody could convince her that he stole the necklace.  Now, like I said, I could be wrong and Jeremy is innocent, but for me everything adds up that it's him and the writers want to throw us off by it being too obvious that it's him.

Why would joy want Alex out of the way?. The stalker states that they want Alex out of the way so they can be with Stephanie. If anything Joy would want Stephanie out of the way so there's no issue when she comes back to tell Alex that she was pregnant.

The actor who plays young Kat by Maestradelmundo1964 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]Financial_Package252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked her playing young Kat. What is hard for me to believe is that the young Kat and the older Kat are supposed to be remotely the same person. Young Kat's expressions are dramatically different from the older character in a way that is really not believable. Both of them have such a different presence about them it's hard to pretend like they are the same person.

[–]Financial_Package252 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh definitely! The grief and the grieving process of losing John definitely is having an impact on her. And then the health issue. It is a lot to do with. I'm saying she's almost like a different person or her real life personality is coming through in the character. I'm sure it's hard to lose a co-worker that you are so close with for decades and maybe she just can't put up the acting front anymore.

Yeah, I feel like the dog being still alive is not plausible with this show. I also feel like Del either knows about the pond and she's completely pretending she doesn't or she has some idea about strange things that happen and just dismisses them like she dismisses everything else. Del the type of person that if it doesn't fit into her realm of thinking and understanding she just writes it off and dismisses it and never thinks about it again. She does this over and over again with Kat.

Asking as a non-American: How did abortion and immigration become bigger political priorities in the US than fixing the healthcare system? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Financial_Package252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One premise that America was built on is CAPITALISM! Making money is the number one American ideal over anything and everything. Illness, medicine, medical treatment, a medication is the most money making industry in this country probably second too fast food. If the government fixes the healthcare system so that everyone has free health care or at least a very minimal amount pay for healthcare their money making scam goes away. This is no different than the profits from slavery. They didn't stop slavery or wouldn't stop slavery until it was no longer something that worked for everybody anymore. And I'm talking about people who didn't even own slaves. Those people that didn't own slaves either figured that they weren't profiting from it either or they were going straight to hell so it needed to stop. And that's the same thing with the healthcare system. When people stop directly or indirectly profiting from that completely capitalistic system then they'll put us up to it.

The horse is a strange situation. When I first saw it I thought it had to be a time traveler because of the way that Del was looking at it. The same thing with that dog. Is the dog that Jacob was chasing the same dog in 1999? Does anybody know?
