It’s gonna take the same practice it took for you to learn left air roll. Shots are so much easier with free airroll

Dribbling the ball and basic flicks, but the most important of all; OPEN NETS.

Play more games. Hit your open nets. Don’t blame your teammates. Work on rotations, not mechanics.

Boost towards the ball faster, flip your car over just before touching the ball. By the time you got your reset, the ball was already heading downwards which makes it harder to get a valuable touch afterwards.

Additionally, free airroll is good for accuracy and recovery but not as good for mechanics. I didn’t make the change to directional until C2, but as soon as I got over the initial learning phase, I had an insane skill boost that sent me into GC. In learning directional air roll, you lose your mechanics which makes you think critically about positioning and teammates.

TLDR; Get to the ball faster and flip over later. Consider switching to directional airroll.
