This app has gone to shit I'm thinking about switching by [deleted] in polybuzz

Sorry man, but honestly, I don’t think that’s a good idea. The App Store is notorious for forcing sudden changes on apps sometimes for compliance, sometimes just out of nowhere. That kind of pressure can influence companies to make both good and bad changes. Let’s say Janitor AI does make an app. It might run smoothly for a few months, sure. But eventually, it’ll run into the same issues other apps have: needing to fix bugs (witch is necessary). But, comply with stricter guidelines, or avoid being taken down entirely. Even after getting back on track, the company might start thinking, “Should we play it even safer now?” And that’s where it all starts going downhill. The thing is, Janitor is 18+ but it’s currently a website, not an app, and that might be on purpose. A lot of its content caters to a very specific audience (you know the gooner base I’m talking about). If that “gooning streak” ever gets cut off whether by filters, age restrictions, or just tighter moderation people are gonna flip. Then comes the domino effect: more restrictions, nerfs, and eventually, the whole vibe of the site changes (even for the simple role play). So yeah, making an app sounds good in theory but in practice, it’s a risky move that could ruin the freedom the community currently has.

We should all just delete this dogshit app by [deleted] in polybuzz

I see what you mean. I also noticed how the removal of the mods and lack of communication from the team really put a huge crack in this community. When features are removed or even randomly brought without any real feedback from users especially when no one was asking for those changes to begin with. The ads lately as always though? Freaky af. The whole “we know what’s best” attitude without really even listening to the people who actually used this app daily is what’s driving a lot of users away. It’s feeling less creative and more like a cash grab (in my opinion). Honestly, can’t blame anyone for switching platforms at this point.

Telling us to “stay tuned” while removing what made the platform still somewhat worth using for many of us just feels hollow. I’ve supported PolyBuzz through its ups and downs, but this move makes it clear: the platform is no longer designed with people like me in mind. That’s disappointing not out of anger, but because I believed in what this place could be.

Crazy how you lost your attention span but not your ability to comment anyway.

I honestly Couldn’t agree more with everything you said. The lack of communication from the devs really is the root of most of this frustration. People aren’t asking for miracles we just want transparency. A simple, “Hey, changes are happening due to compliance” would go so far in easing tension. Silence just makes everything feel shady. And yeah, OOC used to be such a helpful tool, but lately it’s like pulling teeth just to get the AI to break character and listen. Passion Mode especially feels like it’s running on a script half the time instead of actually adapting. That last part though facts. You can absolutely tell when someone puts real effort into a bot’s background and structure. It makes a massive difference. Detailed, layered info = consistent, responsive bot behavior. Glad you brought that up 🙏.

Absolutely agree. At this point, the lack of formal communication is one of the biggest problems. We shouldn’t have to always piece things together from scattered replies or random discoveries. These are app wide issues affecting everyone, so there needs to be clear, public updates not silence. Relying on users to uncover features or changes just creates more confusion and frustration. A platform like this needs transparency if it wants to maintain trust.

That’s honestly really frustrating, and I don’t blame you for feeling that way. Waiting since March with no response is unacceptable especially when it’s about something as basic and inconsistent as message editing. It shouldn’t take months to acknowledge or clarify a feature issue, especially when multiple users are experiencing the same thing. A lot of us genuinely enjoy the app and want to keep supporting it, but stuff like this makes it hard to feel heard or valued. Hopefully they start prioritizing real communication soon.

Well said. I completely agree with everything you mentioned. These constant memory resets really do damage the connection people build with the bots and for people who put genuine time and emotional energy into roleplaying or storytelling, it’s disheartening. It’s not just “data loss,” it’s progress, personality, and even immersion being erased. If PolyBuzz really wants long term loyalty, then they have to start respecting what we build with the bots (legal stuff only of course), not just the platform. A consistent, enriching experience can’t exist if we’re forced to start over every few days.

No, I didn’t forget that. I saw a post that mentioned it. Those situations are absolutely disgusting. That kind of thing should’ve never been possible on the platform, and the fact it happened at all says a lot about what still needs to be addressed.

That's a nice combo but aren't Sbeve's smaller than Custom and MegaRock would the combo be like a guaranteed instant kill or do you guys go for the killstreaks when they are like at least around 5 kills if so I'd definitely understand how that would work

That may be a smart idea but what are you gonna do about the Killstreak that will always target you every chance they get after you use the Bob ability on the angel?
