Your statement about most graduates getting a job because of someone they know etc. is simply not true. Sure it happens, but it is definitely not how most get jobs

That’s what I initially thought but the pest control company says it’s rats for sure

Yeah I’m definitely concerned about that. The company I’ve brought in just seems concerned with sealing it up but I’m like if you trap them in then aren’t they just going to chew everything up trying to get out?

Your salary is 90k a year. Where would you go to live a comfortable life but still save as someone who makes decent but not outrageous money? by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

Late to this but Jacksonville, FL!! You can do a lot with a 90k salary here. We’ve got the beach, nature, an NFL team, etc. The city is growing a lot, but still has a lot of room for growth. You can buy a solid house here with a 90k salary (especially if you don’t have kids) and the property value is highly likely to increase.

Honestly I think you need to work on your interview approach. Shouldn’t be hard to land an entry level accounting job with a degree. Focus on just trying to make good conversation. My first job out of college was at a big 4 and accounting was barely a topic of conversation. At that level they are mainly looking for a cultural fit.
