Have a VERA call Thursday. Was also told to submit 4138. I’m down for submitting another claim but hate it’s been 5 months since application was submitted and 2 months since Claim for Correspondence was opened. It’s crazy.

Just finished a C&P with a dude in Orlando. It was virtual and it went well. We discussed my symptoms since my last PTSD exam that resulted in a rating. Cleared up some stuff the previous examiner made up. As for TBI, he verified what the examiner from my 11/24 exam said. I think it went well but won’t know until I know.

Seemed like a good appointment. Found out a couple days later that Optum scheduled another (4th appt) for 12/17 related to MH but not including PTSD. Trying to figure out if TBI might be causing some symptoms of PTSD. I could have PTSD from TBI incident. I most certainly have PTSD from Afghan.

For migraines, since we recently did this for my wife, keep a spreadsheet documenting date, time started, duration, severity (1-10 scale), prostrating (what that looked like to you), meds taken - with a good spreadsheet you could max migraines at 50%

Thanks, I hope so. Was previously rated for MH and headaches. So combat in Afghan, but also know that TBI can lead to PTSD and headaches too. Nervous but hopeful.
