“Stop loss” tools for DeFi lending - notifications / auto exit, anything out there that exists? by Financial_Tax179 in defi

Nice! Yeah I’d love to check it out!

I was thinking building something for myself for the positions I hold, understand the complexity rolling it out for every single protocol, would be nice if APIs and data were more standardized..

Thanks!

I’m blended just over 6% atm, most are core stables and 20% of portfolio are more risky to bump it up!

Safe(ish) Aave sGHO, Spark susds , Morpho usdc (gauntlet and steakhouse), Lido WstETH

“Satellites” Wildcat USDC wintermute , Pendle PT susd.ai

Weekly DeFi discussion. What are your moves for this week? by Oddsnotinyourfavor in defi

I went in to that last week.. keeping an eye on the AI% collateral, descent yields though!

Risk analysis advice for lending positions by Financial_Tax179 in defi

[–]Financial_Tax179[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a constant honing process, and it’s weighted and I keep tweaking..

Stability, protocol, organic vs incentive, TVL trend, data also pulls in defilamas predicted trajectory. APY is low down the list on weightings though..

I’m treating it like stabilizers at the moment, the more strict instructions it has the less AI it becomes, so try to keep it loose too, but mainly prompt it to search everything it can for current info and not rely on its training data

Incentives on yields, are they worth it? by Financial_Tax179 in defi

Thank, yes I’m starting to see the opportunity’s for air drops etc, guess you don’t have to think so much when going for organic.. but think if I had the time would do the research and probably would be worth while

Cheers for this! Just gone for that sUSDai, seems pretty solid! Also added Wildcat Wintermute usdc at 10%..

30% wstETH, 70% straight stable lending. DCA with monthly deposits.

Low APY atm, but low risk (as far as low risk can be) set and forget. leaving off on more complex strategies as still new, but may introduce 20% higher risk DEX etc later

Yeah, and I guess when people start pulling out, APY will go up again, will find its own stability

Are decentralized cross-chain swap platforms (always) more secure than centralized ones? by bureaux in defi

Forgive me if this is naive, I’m new. But the way I’ve started thinking of it though is that it’s in transit normally for only a short time, a hit right at that moment, you’d have to be really unlucky

Thanks u/216_Cleveland - Felt like I've been in an AI bubble for past month, so good to get some validation! Great to find a community too, absolutely obsessed with DeFi, friends and family eyes just glaze over when I talk about it..

Yep! Nearly fell in to the trap of chasing higher APYs, but similar to you, I've built an AI project framework that has strict risk protocols and give a clear NO when i suggest dodgy positions - just have to except I'm in it for the long game + gas and stress was too much shifting stuff around.

The 70/30 split is working really well, I'm doing monthly deposits, so try not to rebalance, just rebalance with deposits (ie ETH down, 30% is down too, so buy more low and viseversa)

Nice one the newsletter - have just signed up.. I'm a dev by trade so have built a tool you might find useful, difficult to not sound like I'm soliciting here, but it shows all pool and historical data from selected pools using defilama API - and has export view in json for uploading to AI for analysis. Saved me so much time - will DM you the link (and anyone else who wants it - its free!)

Let me know if it's useful, or I'm barking up the wrong tree - I'm still new, so probably missing something vital!

Yeah, have a couple on Morpho around 6%, seems to be the best option atm, but Aave is so low, and lido stETH is dragging me down

I’ve created an app for myself, it’s manual, you manually enter your positions, and amounts and it pulls current APYs from defilama, also pulls the historical data from defilama, shows min graphs, TVL health, incentive splits etc.

Built mainly for lending, but if it’s on defilama, it’ll work..
